There's something you need to know

Some people already know, but you must know that many of the commissions that you can see on my gallery are the result of months of me sending PM looking for a customer.
Sad to say, but in these two years I only counted 4 people who contacted me of their own free will for a commission.
But only one of them commissioned me something. The other three:
- I didn't know where to find the artist.
- He changed his mind.
- For it the price was too high (even 5€ were too much, true story).

In recent months, I wondered what the problem is.
High prices? Maybe.
No shading? It could be.
Because I'm not an artist? Probably.
I've no idea how many people I asked, with results almost equal:
- No thanks.
- Not now.
- I've no money.
- I haven't any B&W commission.
For pity's sake, it may also be true. Actually, are those messages where I'm criticized negatively because I'm begging commissions, to depress me. Even without knowing anything about me, or why I asked them a commission.
Also writting a journal does nothing, except to waste your time. Especially when English isn't your mother tongue. Also this journal will not be less.

I'd like to complain on two other things, but I can't. I can't because I don't know what might be the consequences.

I think, it's just that you offer a very specific service and there is not enough demand for it.
I mean, if someone have a black and white picture, it can either means that : 1 - it's the style they like for it and don't have need to change it. or 2 - don't have the priority or money to have it coloured.

Of course there can be others factors, like for example me : I am myself a colourist, amateur at least. And I like colouring or colour edit my pictures. Even if I won't mind commission you some colour works, I just don't have anything to offer, either because it's already coloured (by me or the artist) or because I think it looks better in black and white.

It's why I told you I am not a good customer for you. Generally the prices of the commissions I pay cover the colouring because I like how it looks with the artist's color style.

I think your price fine, but yeah, there may not just have enough demands for it, I suppose.
Something you could try, but I don't know if it'll work, is to offer your colouring service on several art forums and community instead than just focusing on Inkbunny. With some chance, you may get demands on many of them.

Now I suppose it's boring to find such forums and make accounts and all, but It can be worth the try ^^

Ultimately, if you really need money, you can try to look at what else you are good to and offer them as services as well.
For example : some artists also offer story writing. or other artistic services.

Each of the reasons you listed, are almost the same answer that I had in the last two years.
- To leave it in B&W because they like it how it is and don't want to change it.
- They don't have the priority or money to have it coloured.
- They're colorist themselves.
- They don't have any B&W commission.

In addition to this, I know some artists don't allow their drawings be modified.
Story writing? Better not. Because like I said, English isn't my mother tongue.
Other artistic services? Something like coloring for free a 27-page Infidget NSFW comic?

when I mean services, I mean paid ones. but Yeah, well sadly there isn't much that can be done, I think.

Paid ones? What do you mean?

"Other artistic services? Something like coloring for free a 27-page Infidget NSFW comic?"

My previous answer was about that sentence. I didn't mean to offer working on a 27 pages comic for free.
By "paid service" I mean remunerated services. Service you offer against money, like you do for coloring.

In short a donation of some kind?

Ah nah, well maybe a "pay what you want" can works. But my point is that the only way I see for you to get money from coloring is to try to search for forums or community that looks for colorists and post there, advertise yourself. And just like you do here.
Deviantart, Furaffinity, SFW drawing/art forums and the likes.

If you only try to get customers from inkbunny, I am not sure your situation will improve unless you manage generating demand/creare la domanda.
But in posting on several forums (not necessary posting your arts, just a thread with "I do colouring for x $") and you may have a chance to have more customers. At worst, you will just post on a forum.

From Fur Affinity I never got a commission. NEVER.
I take all kinds of art and kinks, SFW or not.
Do you think it's enough?

Mhh but did i get it right? U only offer to color art? Cause then the thing could be that comissioner prefer to buy full art to beginn with. So i dunno if i would buy an black x white pic only to color it later on. And i think alot do that. So i dunno if its possible for u to offer some other kind of service for comission. But i dunno what. I dont know if u can as example write storys or translate stuff. But u could try to ask artist to help them with there work with coloring to make the work process easier for them and get for it some money. Well i hope u will have an idea for the issue

to draw art for money or coloring for money or writing for money can be difficult to get started. People dont know you, and there is a lot of competition out there. sometimes  people offer to do things for free if its something  they like already anyway as a way to advertise and practice at getting better. after doing that a few times to have a bit of examples of your work, you might want to do coloring for inexpensive prices like a few euros or dollars. It can attract customers who want something color but dont have a lot of money. If you are good or at least average at doing something and a bunch of people know who you are and what you are offering you can attract more customers. maybe ask an artist who draw lots but never colors if you can offer to do colorings or money for their customers? like a partnership with the artist. If you are polite about it and do average work ,you should be able to get some business
