waste of money and family

this is more of an vent...
since my mom passed away our economy remains decent, but the problem was receiving my "inheritance" to spend on me, and I never thought that my own family makes false promises of "I had a car accident, will you lend me money? I'll be back next Monday" or "i need money to eat" or "sweete i need money to pay the studys to my child"
and me how good girl i give they money ... and where is the 981usd?!....
definitely he,she and they can not  return it to me, the money...it's not something to take lightly, I'm not selfish or a bad person but... is just have 196usd.

It's true I don't pay taxes on anything but that money wasn't for anyone else, it hurts a lot that members of your own family squeeze you like a cow

And why until now do they ask me? Yes, it's true, my mom's brother may he rest in peace. He never asked her for money, why would it be? because she never left because she knew the kind of family she has. I don't know why the family on my mom's side could be so opportinistic. well... i'm not really screwed just very frustrated, for the first time in my life i think i'm depressed

OK, I think I understand that you're upset. By the way, are you doing well with work?

saying no will upset them, really upset them, but giving them what they want will not make them go away either.  Put the money in a bank where they cannot get it.

it is definitely a better option for that reason it can only save a part because it stayed in investment

In situations like that, you better have the courage to say "No." You could also host a family meeting and discuss the problem with them. Don't just stand there and take the hit. Speak up!

since I still live with my father, the authority is him, that's right, he will have to speak for my right to the money, because of course he doesn't think it's right for the family to do that to me. but according all my answer to everything is "I have no money"

It's up to him. Tell him he has to take charge of your money until things are sorted out. Of course that would mean closing commissions

yeah any mony you "lend" to family you need to conasider a gift.. your not getting it back if you insist it just creates bad blood it's best to either not do it at all or do it as a gift.

sadly some people even family.. can be greedy dicks who convince themselves it's FINE to take your money you have extra!

this is wrong...but they wont see it that way. this is why I allways pay my debts I cant STAND people who take from others all the time

My middle brother owes me about €2,000, my father blantely made it obvious he cut me out of his will (I wouldn't trust it anyway probably end up inheriting a debt lmao) and im certain my grandparents aren't giving me anything. you'd be surprised how selfish and heartless people get when you've plans to live your own life instead of handing the keys of it over to them and how diabolical they are when they sabotage your jobs and friendships and then blame you for not having them!

wow, something like that also happens to me, I feel that even if I lead my own life I will be to blame for something, that is why I have felt that I want to be alone far from everyone...

I went no contact with my entire family early 2018, they were being extremely unfair and at the same time jealous of me, turns out I'm better off without them though especially since I made good friends to spend Christmas with and now have a good reputation that won't be ruined by their lies

Their excuses sound like shitty inventions in 5 seconds...
I don't understand. You are asked to lend money by the closest relatives, such as father, brother, sister, grandparents or not so close relatives, such as all sorts of cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.
If your loved ones are constantly asking - well, it's strange. In the end, the father, brother, sister, grandparents could say directly that they consider this money to be a common part of the family budget. It is better to talk openly about this topic with close relatives.

And if all sorts of cousins / uncles/aunts are constantly asking you for money, then it's more like freeloading. They flew like bees to honey for your free money. In that case feel free to reject those freeloaders. But with the same excuses as they have, like "Oh, unfortunately I can't give this money, I urgently needed it for a visit to the doctor"

Umm. my dad told me almost exactly the same thing, I think that soon the family will break up again..

What do you mean specifically? That he advised you not to give money to freeloaders from "some relatives there"?
You know, if such "relatives" fall off, it will only be better. There would be no support from such anyway.

yep  basically that, part of my family is offended by everything, as if what they see what i have  I have is for the whole family, then they don't want to talk to me. but well, I prefer to be the hated daughter than the manipulable one

Well, that's right. Because it is simply impossible for a person to be liked by everyone.
