It's been a hot minute since I posted a Journal so I thought I would with some general thoughts/updates/etc.! I'll organize it so it's easier to read and parse!
Wildstar
Wildstar is going smoothly so far! Issue 1 wraps up publically soon, Issue 2 is 90% done and will launch shortly after it's finished! I sort of have a schedule for the comic which luckily is keeping things smooth, I plan to do a sort of "Q/A roundtable" for the comic every time an issue finishes so questions, comments, concerns, etc. can be addressed, Hopefully, everyone is enjoying the comic so far! It's 1/20th finished and is my biggest project possibly.. ever!
Commissions
I may be changing up my commission rates/prices soon not 100% sure how yet so if anyone has any comments/etc. on that, it'd be super helpful! (maybe ways you like when artists have it set up vs. things you don't like, etc. there's no like "date" on that yet but I'll probably do a last call for any under the current set-up when I do! I just like to give a heads up on this kind of thing

SO- Right now Patreon is set up JUST for the "Wildstar" Project! (i figure it's safer with a lot of these sites cracking down on adult content/etc. It's mostly a Tip jar for the comic but it does have rewards that could be worth it to some of you! but for those who would be willing but aren't, what could I provide, that would make it worth it? I'm far from perfect so I can't think of everything so any ideas that might make something like that worth it to you could go a long way! 99% of the comic right now is paid for out of my pocket, and while the comic itself doesn't need money? There are things I want to do for it that require it (variant cover commissions, a possible physical release, etc.) so anything I can do to make those things happen I want to do! Please let me know!
Other Art projects
I'm sure those of you who followed me for porn well, miss that, don't worry! I still plan to keep drawing that kind of stuff, it's just hard because I'm kinda burnt out on ideas atm? and honestly a little out of touch, I'm not 100% sure what characters people want to see anymore and I'm not hyper fixated on anything currently either, so like I'll sketch say a body in a sexy pose but not know who or what to do with it going beyond that! Commissions help because I get ideas and money and everyone gets a drawing! same with YCHS (if I don't have an idea someone else does! haha) Plus with the day job I haven't had time to draw too much else aside from the comic its' tricky! I may open some kind of request line type deal where like if you suggest a drawing idea and I really like it I'll do it as a discount commission or something! (is there a way to do something kinda like that in a way where it seems cool and fair to everyone? I dunno)
I def want to do another adult/lewd comic (either a one-off or a series) but certain people will leak those onto shitty chan-boards and I know "don't complain about that, it'll make it worse" yes I know, this is more just that I can't justify those kinds of projects if all the time I put into them if that happens, I'm no popular artist by any means I BARELY get by on commissions and my day job,(and believe me I am FRUGAL with my money, its why car shopping has been so dang difficult for me..) So if I do a project like that, I need to find a way to balance the people who want it for free vs the people who want to support it with payments but won't bother if it's out there for free, Ideally, I want to create and be able to creat and have everyone able to enjoy that too, So I'd love to discuss that with anyone who has thoughts on it!
Anyway, Thanks to anyone who bothered to read this long rambly thing! It means a lot! at the end of the day, I just want to draw and have what i draw be enjoyed by others so Thanks so much!
