A thought that scares me.

If the supreme court can second guess itself on abortion rights, who's to say they would not second guess themselves on same sex marriage and other LGBT rights. As an LGBT in a same sex relationship, that thought scares the hell out of me.

I agree too.

I never trusted those in power, like look what the US Govt once did to Native Hawaiians or Native Americans.

I wonder if it's time for heavy metal to come back, true heavy metal.

Not metal about partying,drinking and or how someone's life sucks., but metal about politics.

Like some of these lyrics.

You take a mortal man
And put him in control
Watch him become a god
Watch people's heads a-roll
A-roll, A-roll

What's wrong with our society, is it fear or apathy
Don't let other people run your life
So those with power don't use it, they simply
Abuse it
And believe me that cuts me like a knife

Those Southern California Berkeley bands that sang about girls and such weren't threatening, but bands who sang about how power corrupts are threatening. They are threatening to the status quo and giving the middle finger to those in power.
