-My first instinct is to say "Break". The whole reason I haven't posted yet is cause I want people to see it. At the same time, it's not a very broadly appealing product. I'm sure most people will find it "meh", specially ones that just want a light novel or adventure story, as the whole deal with Break is the symbolism and meaning behind everything. -Observation. 10000%. The generic advice is "practice, practice, practice", and it's valid, after all it's the most important step in getting better, but it's not the only thing by a long shot. Observation is key. Look at stuff you love, ask yourself WHY you love it, and try to adapt the answer to that question into your art. Also, look at art you like and analyse it, what makes it appealing to you? And for improving, also observation. Most of the technices I've learned, I've done so by looking at speedpaints on youtube. things like how to make stuff glow, or those little higlight lines I do next to the outlines, I got them from looking at speedpaints and noticing other artists doing it in their work, I didn't just randomly come up with those details. Also, always think of what inspires you, and go from there! I looove small and cute, so I started doing it. I love glow and sci fi, so I decided to work on that direction. It's what inspires me~
