The HYPOCRISY and PRO-BIAS REEing on twitter right now is A+

"Big Daddy Musky Wusky" bought twitter after everyone thought it was a joke, and has promised to make it a legal free speech platform like it was originally intended.

Even though I don't use it and never have plans to, I'm getting massive amounts of entertainment seeing the exact same people that were saying a year or two ago "If you don't like twitter's rules then start your own platform!" and "iT's a pRiVatE cOmpAnY, iT cAn dO wHaTeVeR iT wAnTs!" are now the exact same people screaming in all caps and posting videos of needing government intervention and MORE censorship.

I also love the just pure stupidity and hypocrisy of people thinking "hE ColDa eNdEd wOrLd hUnGeR wItH $45bIlLiOn!" that completely miss how the left and right wing government of the U.S.A. has spent over $3TRILLION in the last year, oh but somehow Musky Wusky is the one frivolously spending!

A bunch of blue and pink haired people with piercings all over their faces and ugly out of style thick rimmed glasses are SCREAMING about how free speech is somehow "right wing" and "white supremacy" or some shit like that.

The same people that said twitter bias and censorship was a "conspiracy theory" are now admitting "Bias and censorship is a GOOD thing!

This is one of those times I love being "politically homeless" because the reactions to things like this from the usual "tribes" is endlessly entertaining.

Yeah we'll see about that one. Usually when someone with that much power talks about free speech, it tends to cut one way only. We'll see if he really means it, or only means it while it's convenient.

Of course.

I honestly don't think much will change, but Musk has a track record of often doing what he says he will do.

I'm just entertained by the proverbial "mask slipping" so hard and fast from so-called "tolerant" and "equality" minded people.

I expect nothing less from the narcissistic left. They do not see their own biases or their own mistakes, and think that anything that disrupts their worldview is EVIL AND MUST BE ERRADICATED!! Which, of course, reveals their own evil intentions to the rest of us.

Regarding the "ending world hunger with $44 Billion"... These people can't do simple math. The world population is about 8 Billion. That means each person would only get $5.50. Okay, let's assume only half are hungry. Yeah, then it goes up to $11.00. A quarter? $22.00. Even if only 1 out of 10 was going hungry, it's only $55.00. No, $44 Billion will NOT end world hunger whatsoever. What it's REALLY about is them wanting to spend someone else's money.

Someone else's money...like how our government spends our money, and is forcing future generations to cover their bill? Yeah, something like that.

A little confused. How did you get $5.50 out of 44 billion / 8 billion?

Put it in a calculator. That's the result you get if one were to divide 44 billion bucks by 8 billion people. It's technically slightly more since there are not exactly 8 billion people on earth but I digress.

The problem with regions that do have a food issue is largely them having unsustainable populations as well as corrupt governments. The problem will not be resolved by throwing money at it though but people upset billionaires exist think it will.

ah okay. Must have missed a key. Though to the broader point, that IS a rather ridiculous amount of money being thrown around in any case. Me, I'm just annoyed I'm going to eventually end up paying this guy $100 per month for internet access because rural internet is absolute dung.
