No, it does not. I was a streamer on Twitch for almost 4 years, and I've made more doing writing commissions in 1 year than I did in those 4 combined (and I don't make that much). You have to get very lucky to 'make it' on Twitch. You also basically have to commit yourself to 1-2 games and play only those, and do it on a regular schedule. Variety streamers that don't come in with a pre-established viewership from something like Youtube have an even harder time making anything. It's basically a job that pays shit.

Now, if you're talking about streaming yourself drawing pr0n or something... no clue on that one.

No game streaming, art streaming

It might make you more money if there's clients who prefer watchign the process.
But for passive income like subs and donations that'll depend on the platform.

For porn picarto is probably the best choice that I know of but you have to pay for premium to get subs as an option.

ye if you're looking for quick cash donating plasma if you're in america is one way.

But Streaming income is like a 1-2year investment before you get anything back.

I would say do it, see what happens and if you don't like it go back to what you were doing.

you can but it requires you to have a large amount of subs/donations which could take a while to build up

Lots of people stream themselves doing art, picarto is a good example of it.. Some artists even special price streams for those who want something quick to.

it is an option the issue being you need a good amount of people to watch you, that being said that shouldnt be too much a problem.

Streaming afaik is a wild card, and it requires a certain type of personality/appearance to pull off. But if you're looking for ways to get word out about yourself, doing streams is one way that doesn't rely on traditional platforms like Patreon or the like. It basically lets you do the same thing, except for the subscription fee.

But if you wanna make money off of streaming specifically, that's a difficult task no matter what type of content you do. And I have almost no idea how you'd pull that off without already having a huge and/or generous following. But starting from scratch, you'd need to follow a unique niche, and then get mainstream attention for it, like the Vtuber Melody, who basically started on chaturbate as a 18+ Vtuber, and then saw huge success as the first girl to do this thing. So basically, it either comes down to a pinpoint educated guess, or downright dumb luck.

a way to do it and make money could be stream comms so people can get work from you then and there

as making money off just the streaming im not really sure is a thing unless your already super popular

though it can at least be useful to give you more focus to get work done like if you have any backlog comms owed along with chat with people you usually dont get to talk to, at least thats how i do it
