Price Changes Coming

Hi there, it's been a hot minute! I've been super busy with work due to people leaving as usual, other not pulling full shifts, etc. We're hoping to ease this up with new hires soon ;;

Otherwise, my hand is better, still has a tinge of numbness every once in a while but I can deal with it much better. I'm still in the middle of commissions but they're coming along, albeit slowly. I'm also in the process of reviving my subscribestar to actually be able to use it and offer good rewards for subbing to it.

Other than that, I'm making a new price sheet as I've figured my work has gained a bit more quality to be able to change them up, I'm making some changes to it like offering sketches as well shaded or a colored/shade sketch rather than making a colored sketch and a colored shaded sketch cost different. Most things will remain the same, otherwise. ♥

Working on also changing to some new payment processers, like Stripe. I will still be able to take PayPal for it however their new fees are a bit meh. But I'll work as well as I can to accommodate everyone!

Good luck! You deserve a price update, to be sure.

And take your time! Everyone goes through periods of lower output/motivation sometimes. Some for longer than others, but it's understandable.

My brain was confused; I thought you were leaving that jerb because they were just driving you under. :)

Also, Wise also exists. They've been around for a while for international transfers, and it's to the point that even GoOgle is using them. They are super transparent about their fee schedule, and it changes based on how the sender sends their funds (ACH transfer, vs Debit, vs Credit, etc). :)

Oh!! I saw that one mentioned and forgot what it was called, thanks!! I'll probs set that up as well, I set Square up last night but Stripe immediately blocked and is going to delete my account due to it selling nsfw content :)

Also, about the job, I did quit bit they asked me back for a higher wage, my own hours, no weekends, etc so I went back, however we had someone quit so it's a bit more draining recently lol However it's still better than it was!

Aha! So you had them by the balls and made them squeal. ;>

Continuing the nut jokes, Stripe is currently getting their nuts squished by the credit card companies, so they're eager to comply with Visa and MasterCard, who are trying to puritanwash the internets; kinda like what happened to PayPal, but at a different scale (PayPal was getting Visa/MasterCard and multiple country governments lined up to have a go; Stripe just has Visa/MC).

This insistence that for adult content, people have to go through a tiny number of "high risk" card processors is just a racket in and of itself. :P

Agreed. I think my issue was back when I made the account (apparently in like 2014??) I set my business website to this one, which of course was a mistake for a few reasons, however it seems silly to even try to appeal to get it back, so I'll just let it rot. 🤷‍♀️
