It was clear for me, that this would happen sooner or later. With the message that 7 banks in russia are disconnected from SWIFT everyone should have guessed that things like paypal, patreon, and later also ko-fi aso will stop to work with russian banks together. Shops like amazon will follow. many postal services stopped to send their cars aso to russia. And as long the war continues sanctions will not stop but increase. Many sellers allready put Russia on the "will not sell to them" list.

We have problems here in Canada and down in the U.S. next door, but there are so many worse things in other countries just doing to themselves and their own people... But what can we do? Would we just make it worse? I know the U.S. has a history of making shit way worse in the countries they try to 'help'...

The problem is the elites want this to be the case. Putin doesn't want Ukraine to join Nato or the EU. At this point, he's comitted to taking over the country one way or the other. I admire the effort of the Ukrainians....but from a logistical standpoint and practical standpoint, the folks are too ill equipped. They don't have enough guns, ammo, you name it they don't have enough of it. And by the time any new stuff gets in, they are already too far in. So, we are looking at a brand new cold war, and WW3 sometime soon. This is real stuff that involves everyone in the world now. And Biden and his souless administration is so weak politically that Putin and China see their chance. The Pentagon is also making plans for a government in exile. So even they are seeing the writing on the walls.
