still pretty annoying. if they would add or change something to get it permanent, i would donate for the diamond level. but $1000 in the last three months, $2000 in the last six months, or $4000 in the last year... and then it's gone... ha ha, no chance. XD

That's perfectly understandable. In fact, we initially only offered sponsor icons for three months, but we felt that did not sufficiently compensate high-value donors, nor encourage people to donate all at once to reduce processing overheads. We did offer main server naming rights to someone who donated $4000, but I do not think they took that offer up.
However, the reality is that our costs are relatively modest (~$10/day - compare FA), so we do not need or expect too many gem-level donations. Once our costs are covered, it's arguably better to support the site by funding artists with an active presence here. Which I see that you do, and I thank you for it.
