I have finally finished my efforts on the Alpha Rivals story series. Apologies to Dilbertdog for the two year delay. I had a really hard time finishing that story series, but now he can move on to another author fairly cleanly. Any future stories featuring the characters and world setting in the Alpha Bitch and Alpha Rivals series will be written by a new author, with my full blessing and consent. I wish Dilbertdog and that new author well in their future projects.
Today I looked back at some unpublished content I had written for my story series, ‘The Secret’. I was kind of surprised to find almost four chapters which I wrote four years ago, but which had never been posted. That section was to cover the handfasting of Karl and Melanie, which had way too much going on to fit into a single chapter. So I held back on posting, to be able to edit and revise as needed if by the end of that event I felt any changes were necessary. Kind of glad I did, now, because it included one scene that I am really uncomfortable with now. I am going to edit that content, and bring the story to an end at the end of that handfasting, with just a brief epilogue to tie up loose ends and wrap up where the characters went from there in their lives.
‘Swiss Mix’ and ‘The Houseboy’ will each get an epilogue chapter fairly soon, ending those series. For Swiss Mix in particular I had decades of additional timeline content plotted out, but much of that will be scrapped because with my changed perspective, I feel I was taking it in the wrong direction.
To be clear, I am not trying to say that others who write stuff similar to what I used to write are in any way bad. I’m not shifting to a ‘holier than thou’ attitude about cub porn, or certain kinks. I may even still write some new stuff, as FoxyFemme, which includes older cubs in consenting situations. But most of my future efforts will be as SpectralWolf, and will not be cub porn. Nor will I, as SpectralWolf, usually be including anyone else’s characters in my own story projects.
