You're a great artist! And being a self critic means you're always trying to improve.
The best way to cheer up is to go back and see your old drawings to remind yourself how much you have improved

I know what its like to not be pleased with your own work. Its a tough time but all you can do is your best. Try to ease up, keep trying to improve and remember why you do it. You do good work and if it means anything I always enjoy seeing your art :3

Always remember, what you fear, or worry about most, is what you are destined to do, the purpose of your life. Don't ever break yourself down to shambles, but understand, when you care enough to see your own faults, it is a beautiful realization, because you found something in life you care about and like a lot, and you should treat it like a delicate flower.

I think every artist or writer needs to be a bit like that. You know always wanting to do better otherwise they will end up stopping in time and never improve on stuff they should.

That being said, thanks for being such a nice guy and artist Yupa. Here's hoping to get more stuff from ya next year as well x3!

You're of Asian origin, right? I bet a lot of this is from perfectionistic culture... :<
It's great that it pushes you to continue to improve but remember that your own well-being should always come first! Don't let yourself be deluded into thinking you have to slave away for even more slivers of progress when you've already come so far. Especially not at the cost of your confidence.
Look back at every commission you've done where your client has left thrilled and satisfied-- those are real, human interactions where your artistic prowess tangibly brightened up the world for someone, not just what's obfuscated behind the vagueness of numbers. Cause regardless of what kind of art it is, isn't that the point of it? To enrich the lives of those who choose to seek it out? Every piece you make, for you or for another, is an idea translated from simple thought into tangible media and you've come to be able to do so with delightful finesse. (and high levels of cuteness~) c:
