Story time!

First order of business: I'll be posting a piece of writing these next few weeks. It's going to have kids TF-ing, but it's not going to be one of my typical stories. If you're a fan of the SCP Foundation, you're gonna love what's coming.

But until I have that finished, how about a little STORY TIME!!!:

So, I'm going to be vague about my personal background. But let's say when I was a kid, I went to a church regularly for Sunday school. And one day, I found this actual illustrated Bible on the shelf, sitting with various other Christian children's books.

It's an abridged version of the scripture, with mostly a summarized version of the original. Honestly, I think it was more of a Bible study guide, or a kids workbook. Let's just say it was a summarized version of scripture, directed towards kids.

But there was a twist.

The start of the book has a comic prologue, about a group of young teens who meet their teacher, I think for a Bible study session? The kids are all illustrated in a realistic style, but for reasons I can't remember, there was this magic machine that somehow sucks the teens into the Bible.

Once inside, they find they’ve transformed into cartoony versions of themselves. There’s a whole scene of them bending bits of their bodies, having fun with their new malleable selves, i.e. stretching their noses and limbs.  But then they find that the machine was on the loose, throughout the stories of the Bible. So their mission is to track the machine/device down, in order to get back to the real world.

Throughout the book, the teens are shown in every page, getting into wacky shenanigans besides actual summary of the Bible. And in more than a few of the pages, they became animals featured in those parts of scripture, like camels and elephants. On a page summarizing Jonah and the Whale, there’s an implied scene that they turned into squids inside the whale’s mouth. A whole bunch of stuff that I wish I could remember. Funny enough, I don’t remember the page on Sodom and Gomorrah.

I think near the end, they turn into anthropomorphic Matzo balls or bread loafs (yes, this is what I remember). Somehow that gets the attention of their teacher, and it frees them back into the real world, where they're back in a realistic style again.

I was around 5th grade at the time. Even then, I had a weird fascination towards transformation, even if it’s not explicitly sexual. I was even scribbling crude cartoons of people TF-ing in private, and knowingly hiding it from people. And I perked up every time I saw anything with transformation in movies and cartoons.

And that book. God DAMN, every time I went to church, I picked up that book. I wish I remembered the title of it (and I hope maybe someone out there's read the same book as I did). I DID try searching through a bunch of Kids Bibles on the internet, just to look for my childhood fetish fuel. But even my atheist ass decided it was too blasphemous.

Tl;dr: I got turned on by a kid’s Bible because it had TF.

EDIT:

So uh.....wow.

Many thanks to tknight93 for finding this! The book is called Adventure Bible Handbook from Zondervan Publishing, copyrighted 1994.

I actually did search up an ‘Adventure Bible’ while looking for this the first time. Turns out the handbook I came across online was a completely different book with the same name, and same publishing house.

Like most things remembered from childhood, there were some things I remembered differently. Biggest of them was that most of the TF only appeared in the Old Testament half of the book (and not quite in every page). Honestly, it made sense. I couldn’t imagine all those shenanigans happening during the Jesus sections of the book.

Also, the premise was a bit different. The kids were actually using a hologram/VR device, but after entering, they have to go through every single Biblical event in order to get out. And they also meet a villain named Max, who steals their device at one point, and the kids have to get it back. It’s actually a cool story with an actual plot, haha. And all alongside explanations of the Bible.

Also, there’s no Sodom and Gomorrah page, but there is a very brief mention of it, along the chapter listings for readers to check out. Quite interesting, since it was one of the only actual transformations I remember from the Bible.

I uploaded some pages onto Imgur. Obviously it’s all tame and clean, but imagine kid me coming across a book like this. I had the same reaction coming across the Animorphs books as a child, or anything TF related.

If you want to read the whole thing, you can ‘borrow it’ on Internet Archive, though you’ll need a free account first.

Now, for your viewing pleasure, here’s my Sunday school fetish fuel. Enjoy!:

Oh wow. I only used Google and goodreads while looking for it, I didn't think of using Archive.org. It must've taken a while, haha.

Again, thank you so much for digging this up! You are glorious 😆.
