I absolutely adore this lady, her perspective on the west is wonderful to hear. She is someone who grew up in the DPRK and was sold as a sex slave into China, something she underwent for the chance to have enough food to eat. Eventually she made it to the USA and she has a youtube channel, regularly making videos about her homeland.
I've read the book "The Space Between The Stars" by another North Korean woman with a similar story, though she would eventually emigrate to Canada. So much for secular socialism and women's equality.
