its for ARMA 2 + Operation Arrowhead, and as such is graphics heavy. what makes this mod so entertaining is your only goal is to survive. There is no L4D style over it where you go in guns blazing while cracking oneliners, you try and sneak past the zombies, conserve ammo and if you do have to shoot one you better be sure to do it quietly, as the zombies respond to sound and light.
While Im praising it, it is only in alpha/beta state and as such its still very rough around the edges, but even in its current state its still one of the best zombie games ever made. think Resident evil 1 combined with stalker and you have the gist of it ^^
I don't own the game needed for the mod, and I can't afford much. My planned out game purchases are Torchlight 2, Borderlands 2, Guild Wars 2, and Path of Exile (which is free2play, thankfully). I was just thanking you for sharing such information as I love hearing about neat things I may have missed. It may not have applied to me, but I'm still happy that people do try to inform others of fun thing. =3

ArmA2:OA is relatively cheap on Steam, and I always strongly advise this game. You need a little bit of patience though, as the learning curve is extremely sharp and you need a totally different attitude towards it than, say, unrealistic arcade games like Modern Warfare 3.
It's considered the most realistic military sim/game available, aside from Virtual Battlespace 2... which is built off the same engine by the same people, and used by actual military special forces to familiarize members with procedures and areas of operation, or just by anyone who needs a versatile simulation program. I believe it's $20 on Steam. $40 if you get ArmA2 and ArmA2:OA (which combines to form Combined Operations, strongly advised). Just my two cents! :3

Been playing a lot of ArmA2:OA recently, but never got around to trying out the zombie mod, not even after Mizzy mentioned it... I think I'll give it a shot now, got a lot of people recommending it. Might seem weird playing a Zombie mod for ArmA, but it's gotta be sweet.

Would love to play it. I've seen PsySyndicate play it for a few months now, and just recently The Cynical Brit (or, as he's sometimes called, TotalBiscute/TotalHalibut) did a review of it along with the creator of the mod, and it looked really good. Only one problem: my motherboard is a very weird model, as it has a barely usable Processor built right into it, so upgrading the CPU means that I'll have to replace the mobo. Might do that soon.
My PC specs:
Motherboard: Phoenix Tech. Model# NF-MCP61, Brand V6.00 PG CPU: AMD Athlon 64-Bit 3500+ (built into the motherboard, sadly.) RAM: 2 sticks at roughly 1gig each (DDR2) Graphics Card: NVidea G-Force 9600 GSO OS: Windows XP (will be upgrading to Windows 7 in about a week).
