Seen it all...(adult content)

They say with age comes wisdom but I'd like to amend that saying and include boredom. After so long, you've seen pretty much every thing and to emphasize that point, I'm actually old enough to remember the Elmer Fudd cartoon "An Itch in Time" where at the very end as the flea is carrying Elmer and the dog away on a platter, Elmer's cat says  "Well, now I've seen everything." before shooting himself in the head with a pistol; which you younger folks would never know about since they cut that out of modern airings. I think the internet is to blame since with it we have a whole world of content to expose ourselves to and thus we can literally see every thing there is to see. South Park made fun of that in the ep where the internet got shut down and Randy couldn't get off because he was so used to having access to all the messed up porn available world wide from the net.
So this has left me sort of jaded when it comes to adult content and very rarely do I see some thing "new" let alone some thing I say "Wow, that's cool" or "That's original" and that's left me also having a hard time coming up with new commission ideas as every thing is "I've already done that" or "That reminds me too much of". I've even talked to Fyr about some ideas I had and she said "We did that already" and sent me the link.
Is any one else out there having this problem? Does all the furry porn you see look pretty much the same after a while? Do you end up going back to your old favs just for some thing interesting to fap to and then get bored with them too because you've seen them so many times?

Context is everything. A pose can be substantially changed through minor limb rotation and being put into a new context, I feel like that's the key to keeping things new and fresh.

For example, I recently thought up an idea for a comic; a guy gets a call from his partner while he's gettin' blown, claims he's workin' out, partner gets all hot and heavy due to the panting and grunting, and they end up running through sexy scenarios where, unawares to the partner, the guy performs it with his piece of meat on the side. Aesthetically, it'd just be typical sex, oral and otherwise, but with that new context it becomes something new.

Lol, I was going to leave a useless comment agreeing with you, that everything starts to look the same after a while, done a thousand times over with just different characters
which is a road block I struck with writing, personally
everything feels done before and I end up dissuaded from staying the course
which is slightly different, but similar sentiment

's comment, above, is actually helpful here! Small tweaks plus context. Adds greater variability beyond penis goes in hole over and over

I've had the same exact problem. Everything looks the same and I become so bored that I end up leaving for a week. But when you role-play a character that's a succubus certain naughty things come up and I feel the need to visit here again. So I can understand. Though admittedly it's probably not for the same reasons as yourself, I find that I gravitate towards certain visuals that sparked my interest. So perhaps maybe the key to your boredom is exploring what moves you? And even if it is a idea that you've already explored there's no harm in doing it again, as they say.
But if you're dead set against finding something new, why not branch out to different sites, talk to different people, explore yourself to a new kink. Or you could always try a new theme, like for example if your thing is horror you can maybe switch over to fantasy. Some people make a list... process of elimination...

I hear you, ima old dog myself, I have greys!  grew up on them cartoons man that was best lol
I’ve been drawing almost my whole life so yeah I totally feel that way. I draw almost everyday but I take/offer either free oc /trades to keep it fresh and do different characters etc. the other persons idea of poses. It keeps me fresh and not burned out.
Seeing other work /artist it’s hard to break the mold and be unique/ dynamic but that’s the skill, practice and imagination to do that. 🤘🏽🧐

Yeah, really with you on this.  My libido is in neutral right now because I can't find anything to excite me anymore

A couple of the artists I've followed for a long time came up with the idea of re-drawing some of their oldest stuff in their new ability & style. The result has been some delightful new life to some of my original faves way back in the stone-age of the furry fandom. There's so much out there now that very little tickles the trigger as it were. But some of those old pics (and I'll be honest, by today's standards the art is terrible) still have the hot memories of them attached - making them more useful for getting off than some of the greatest current works.

It's been... ummm.... 4 years? since I tried to draw any thing so I'm sure my work has gone to hell, not that it was that good to start with as I had trouble with consistency; not in the mood and it turned out worse than normal and so on. I've picked on Cari a few times as she hates her old style and I told her she should redraw some of my old pics that she'd done.
But that's not really the "new" thing I'm thinking about, that's just putting new paint on a old house as they say.
