Wage earners have a chance to improve their standing.

Current employment conditions are starting to really favor wage earners for the first time in nearly fifty years.

Near 69 percent of the work force has resigned and moved to better pay and conditions.

Logistics service sector for CDL drivers, forklift operators, even package handlers are getting big bumps in pay and incentives.

Local LTL drivers and hands on delivers can make 80,000 to a 100,000 plus respectable health benefits and handsome sign on bonuses.

Its long hours with a degree of practical skill and certification.

But the jump is wages is considerable.

The biggest problem with inflation is supply chain disruption because there are not enough workers  operating warehouses and driving trucks to make delivery.

While an inconvenience to consumers this provides real improvement in living conditions for wage earners.

Labor is starting to get back what increase in wages withheld scince the 1970s from trickle down killing off the middle class.

This is a chance for those able and willing to work to really cash out from the last year and half of disruptions.

I find myself hopeful and have taken a new account at work that can double my income.

Hopefully others can take advantage as well while the rates favor laborers.

Look at your current situation and what you can get as a guaranty sign on.  It might make up the difference.

Number of union outfits in Wisconsin are waving their normal waiting period to fill crital roles.

And if they are open to paying fresh meat, their next union meeting gonna have to see to the ones that stuck around or they are likely to loss them to better pay.

Unions only work when the members actually look out for each other.

Heck, if people less skilled and experienced than me start making as much as I do, a) good on them, b) that's ammunition for me to argue for a raise or find a better paying company and walk. Win-win.

it literally makes no sense to get mad other retail workers making a living wage saying who does and doesnt deserve say $15 an hour . instead of being the crabs trying to pull down any other crabs getting ahead ,its better to fight for all of the middle class to get ahead

For a European perspective, retail and hospitality here are low on staff because medical services have been hiring a lot of people fresh out of high school to do testing at almost twice the minimum wage, but that will come to an end soon. What that will mean long-term for low end wages I don't know.
