So a friend of mine wants to go to Canterlot Gardens... And, since it is pretty close to my birthday (the convention, that is), he wants to take me along as a birthday present. It's like a dream come true to me - the whole going to a convention thing, that is. Since Devy's original plans to take me to AE kinda were bombed by other plans he made, this'll be great!
The catch?
My friend has to save up around $700 to even get us into the convention! While it'd be super-cheap for him, I need a plane ticket, and that's around four hundred bucks... On the bright side, he's getting his brother and a cousin to help too, as he's getting them to come along. So things should come out well.
Please give my friends your best wishes; if this is pulled off, this'd be the happiest three days of my life.
