I know I have largely been MIA for this whole, like, year or so. It's been a chaotic ride and I haven't been able to get myself to do much art. I can't even seem to get myself to look at much art either.
To begin with, I moved in January to a new house much closer to my work (whereas I was commuting 2 hours for 2 and a half years - when I moved that dropped down to half an hour commute). Then, two of my dogs, well my dog of 11 years and my roommate's dog of 10 years, both passed away of cancer within days of one another. This was and still is truly heartbreaking. It's been a couple of months now and I still find myself crying into my pillow at night.
Then, two weeks ago, I quit my job of 7.5 years to start a new one doing... A lot of the same thing but for more money and closer to home (it's like a 10 minute commute now if traffic is BAD). BUT the new job is a bit busier than the previous one, so I am having to adjust to a new workflow.
Also, a friend of mine helped me acquire a PS5 at RETAIL cost directly from Sony, and I JUST started getting that setup today. So that's cool. Anyway, yeah, that's about the gist of things.
Life is strange...
I don't know when I will be able to get back into doing art properly though, for that I apologize.
