So I had a "group of friends" who "recently discovered the game" add me on discord. 2 of them are blocked because for god fucking sakes READ THE FUCKING JOURNALS...anyway they kept asking me to join their livestreaming of the game when I'm extremely busy with IRL stuff. In case any of that "group of friends" reads this, know that I don't mind talking about the game etc. but simply adding me on discord to retardedly ask me the same questions I've answered over and over again, or to ask me what I think of the RenPy "port" of the game will quickly drain my patience and get you blocked. Again I love chatting with peeps on discord and lurking on groups etc. But if you simply add me to ask me the same questions I've answered hundreds of times I will promptly wish you the best and block / unfriend you.
As long as you're making SOMETHING and doing well enough, that's all that matters to me. I don't care if the bunny game ever progresses beyond its current point.

Blocking seems a bit harsh for just having questions, even if they are common ones. Maybe just an FAQ link at the ready you can quickly copy/paste to them? Personally trying to talk to someone about a game or piece of art I enjoyed, or what have you and promptly being blocked for it would be a bit devastating to me as a fan.

There already are plenty of FAQs, journals, information readily available. I only block people who add me simply to ask me about the game. Or to spam me to make art for them. I already have to deal with hundreds of PMs of the same question I've clearly answered over and over. I have perfectly decent discord/online/buddies/fans who read and have a basic level of intelligence. Fans who will from time to time ask me about the game and how it's going but not ask me the same damn questions I've answered over and over again.

And when I express my perfectly justifiable annoyance and frustration they simply head over to whatever online imageboard / forum they crawled out to to go say spam / spew things like "Aval0nX called me a retard, don't reach out to him, he's mean, he doesn't answer questions, he is X, Y, Z, etc. etc." Then everyone else online just gets the wrong impression. You can reach out to me, add me in Discord, if you have a question I haven't answered, great I'll answer it. I lose patience and block people who add me only to say "hey" and "what's up". But if you add me to have meaningful conversations from time to time, that's fine and great.

Most of the people are, but some are pushing their ego to the extremes. -_- I've been moderating YT chat of a game streamer for 6 years and same fucking questions simply never stops! There's always someone new, who never bother to read any FAQ on the channel, nor watch podcasts answering a tons of the same questions. Nope, they simply rush to Live Stream and spam the chat with questions that were answered AGES ago! And when you tell them politely to stop, look for the answer here and here, they start bitching and cussing, cuz "they weren't talking to YOU, they were talking to the STREAMER, so SOD OFF!" And of course, they get banned right away.
The point is - after 6 years, the same thing never stops, so all the mods and the streamer himself just quit caring about it. Any new selfcentered idiot shows up - gets blocked.
