So, I learned recently that a novella is defined by a story with between 10K and 40K words, usually erring on the side of 20K+ words. They typically (but not always) have multiple chapters, though usually only couple due to the shorter length.
Besarta Saga stories length:
Den of Rats - 4857
Caged Rat - 12,457 (formerly my longest story)
Rat Hunter - 7693
Freedom Fighters (Part 1) - 7203
Freedom Fighters (Part 2) - 8252 (that's 15,455 combined, currently my longest)
Total length in 5...ish... stories - 40,462
Even JUST counting the Daz/Fran arc - 23,148

I actually feel... proud of myself...
