Internarional Delights

After going to a UPS store to have a dresser delivered to my sister, I walked over to the nearby Publix and perused the international section. Compared to the Publix closer to home, this one had a little more in terms of snack items. Of the various snack items, I chose Jammi Dodgers and Taveners brand wine gums. Yesterday, I bought turkish delight and Terry's chocolate orange. The chocolate orange wasn't in the round wrapper though.

Anyway, the 1st of these items I decided to try was the wine gums. I got to say that it was shocking to have gummies that tasted more like fruit than the more synthetic stuff I've had. I can't say for sure how accurate the black currant gummies taste to a real one though. I would definitely buy these again and some other brands.

Next on the menu is Fry's turkish delight. I got to say the mix of gelatin and chocolate is a strange mixture. I got to say the gelatin was sort of weak in flavor. This is my first time tasting such a product so I'm still unsure if rosewater is meant to be a strong flavor or something that is subtle. I might purchase it again but I wonder if I should look elsewhere to try this confectionery.

I'm going to close this journal off with Terry's chocolate orange. It definitely smells of orange. The second thing I noticed about this chocolate bar was that it's very melty. It takes a few seconds for this delectable treat to stain my fingers so I might have gone a little fast when eating it. The orange flavor here is definitely subtle. This was definitely some good chocolate though. I definitely want to try it again. Especially in the orange shaped packaging.
