Prometheus : what I thought of it (spoiler)

I enjoyed the movie. It is a nice, well-played, well-made movie. One of the groupe wanted to see it in 3D but the 3D bring nothing for the movie. It's a prequel to Alien, even if it is not said anytime during the movie. The Alien 1 pilot, the Alien 1 starship, the Alien 1 pilot seat, the final scene and the proto-face-hugger evolving from worms. It seems that we were a somewhat accident as we were born of the left-over DNA of the death of one of those giants by the black ooze, black ooze which seems to be a powerful mutagen stuff.
The flaw in the movie is that it is really really predictable : the traitor synthetic, the old man being on board, the way the firsts aliens came to life...

lol, when we saw the prievew, we initially thaught it ad something to do with the aliens movies XD

overall, was it worth the watching?

Why did 3D bring nothing to the movie? Did they do the 3D poorly? If it's something like how Avatar did 3D then I'd much prefer it in 3D. ^^;

I haven't seen any other movie with active 3D like avatar. It was this cheap 3D that more than half the time you don't feel it's anything different than normal TV. And most scenes you actually see some 3D it's just two characters talking.
