I've often ranted how the line between fiction and reality should not be blurred and that artists should not be branded for what they draw.

dude even if something REALLY bad got bottled up for years, MOST people STILL wouldn't act on it. It's just not how things work in reality. This is one of the reasons violent video games are popular, most people don't have the guts or lack of morality to actually go out on a rampage, so they pretend in a game.
