Guess my characters aren't special enough. John is just a boring blue and white wolf, Jhon is just a boring black bunny. I really thought that Jaml was interesting to people but I guess not, no one likes a chuthulu monster.
No glitter pups or angel dogs. I dont get why people need to slam 5 species together for there special character and god forbid you get one little pattern on their character wrong!

I'm boring as fuck.

Many have just been busy with survival or dealing with their personal dramas this year. It's not easy to keep up with the fun things we all used to do.

Even I've had to deal with a lot of hardships this year that have hurt me physically mentally and emotionally, as well as financially.

I am a green dragon with a yellow belly.

I am in a telegram group with 46 other people who are green dragons with a yellow belly.
we share pictures we find of reptiles with green or yellow coloring.
my favorite color is purple.
I dont know where i was going with this.

Sometimes "boring" can be good. Sure, I like a lot of the crazy patterned OC's but sometimes they get to be too much to look at and I have to take a break from looking at their art.

Most of my OCs are fairly tame, other than a few spots here and there and some odd coloring (like blue and green spots or hair, etc.)

It just all depends on what a person likes I suppose /shrug

in my eyes, extremely over detailed characters with lavish fur designs, exotic colors, etc, really aren't that appealing, they're such an eyesore, i much prefer simpler designs like your characters

I prefer more simplistic characters most of the time. Yea complex and detailed ones are cute too. But tend to get more expensive to commission depending on what type of media, or physical item you are getting.

Nanuk is the most complex OC I've ever had, and I didn't even design him originally. It was an artist rendition of a simplistic design that I did when I commissioned them. And I just kind of went with their design instead.

But the point of a character is not to please others, its should be something that makes you happy, and feel a connection with. Who cares what others think, yea know?
