I have this odd little problem. I can next seem to get the right amount of salt on my popcorn. I want it to be like a pretzel with golden butter sent from heaven. I have my own popcorn make and can get enough butter on it with enough oil added. I am now trying to use actual butter. For some reason I just cannot figure the salt thing out. I sprinkled it over at first and it all fell to the bottom of the bowl. When I had a salt tray, I got so much salt my tongue started bleeding. The last thing I tried was spraying high concentrated saltwater onto the popcorn with a spray bottle, but that got the popcorn salty and was no longer crunchy. I'm going to put saltwater into the pot of boiling oil and wait till all the water vaporizes from it before adding the kernels. If this doesn't work, I am buying a mortar and pestle.
