Surgery Date

I'm going to get surgery tuesday 13, so after that date i'm going to be out of action for a few days (maybe a week). i hope i can get back to action as soon as possible.

On my country tuesday 13th is like friday 13th, so i admit i'm a bit scared.😅

You will be fine. I had issues with my gallbladder procedure, but I'm a victim of multiple disorders, which for some reason muted my sensation of pain inside my body. I felt pain when my gallbladder was so full of stones that it was starting to tear, and by the time I had surgery (~2 days after first symptoms were noticed) it had started to rot from infection. They told me that this was incredibly abnormal, and that in addition to removing the gallbladder they also had to cut away a bunch of the surrounding liver. Hurt like a motherfucker, and I had missed the entire second week of college classes. My gallbladder, for reasons not fully understood right now, hadn't been emptying its contents properly, and therefore the stones were not made of cholesterol, but bile. Again, abnormal. The worst part of all that is that now I have to monitor how many grams of fats and oils I consume. It's been two years, and I'm still struggling to figure it all out. But my problems were due to the combination of Sensory Integrative Disorder (senses are just not proportioned properly, internal sensations are numbed but external sensations are hypersensitive) and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (a really weird connective tissue disorder that makes my muscles not develop properly). Don't be afraid, dude. You will be fine, really you will.

I just have one question: are they just removing stones, or the gallbladder too? I don't have a primary care physician, and I'm trying to figure out if that would have made a difference in my case or not...
