Things that make me sad:

Artists that only post on twitter.  As if we need another way to feed social media addiction.  Plus, it really doesn't seem like the right forum for adult-themed art.

Well, most people post on Twitter because they can't post anywhere else; including here. Every website is too oppressive or picky, and they want to post to one place, not several websites linking to other websites.

There's some serious porn on Twitter, some makes furry art look pretty normal. As long as the account is marked "adult only" then they're safe to post anything legal.

I hate artists posting on Twitter. It's terrible for art. So many of those sites which are not submission-focussed (and even some that are) don't name the pictures properly. No titles and no artist names. It's ridiculous.

That and the kink shaming and people desperate to fulfill a sense of moral superiority based solely on their taste in porn.

I never follow those kind of links. If people want to share their art, they can do it on a dedicated art site, like this one.

Sadly Twitter is the only place that allows all my art at the same time, every place had their own rules that doesn't help if you do different things. I have to deal with content been deleted from places very often, even trying to stick to rules.

I wouldn't be as opposed to artists using Twitter as a gallery if most if them were able to separate their art accounts from personal matters. Your content can be the best I've ever seen, but I still won't follow you when doing so means that my timeline will be flooded with twenty different social/political hot takes a day.

Never used Twitter and don't intend to start anytime soon. If an artist only post there sadly I won't be following them anymore.

I know it's a popular site, but I've heard some real horour stories from people who have spend a lot of time there.

Tumblr taught us nothing.

Following a Twitter link always results in being unwillingly exposed to at least ten things that make me want to inject bleach directly into my eyeballs afterward...

The most annoying part about Twitter for me is the stupid 200 tweet limit on the timeline. Unblockable "likes" and swaths of rants and political beliefs make it near impossible to see more than 10 or so art pieces from the people I'm actually watching before reaching the end of the timeline. Even worse is the fact that the oldest post on my timeline is usually only two or three hours old, so unless I check it often, I miss out on a lot of stuff.

I just wish there was a website or program/app or something that could pull new artwork from people's galleries and social medias and put it all into some kind of universal inbox so we could still see everyone's artwork without actually having to use the website.

Yeah the fact people went to social media sites which are garbage in my opinion sucks. Another thing to add to the list wold be lack of keywords/tags to make searches easier. I see way to many that fail on that all the time. I really could go on but ill leave it at that as to not annoy anyone. ^^

Yeah i agree. Besides the usual Twitter bs, it just sucks for posting artwork. When i go through someones gallery i just want to see their artwork not stuff they reposted or stuff i dont care for like politics/rants/etc. The lack of an image search is also a big pain.
