Which kinda puts a crimp on things. I'm sure if you guys have been following the news (U.K. based - I very much doubt this makes the U.S news lol) the U.K has imposed restrictions on the number of people who can meet up outside of family/household bubbles. Basically gatherings of six people or more are now if not against the law, then certainly in breach of coronavirus regulations. Apart from going to work, weddings and funerals. More exceptions will no doubt follow. And then be retracted. With the number of alterations to government directives that have been made recently I wouldn't be surprised.
Just like I'm not surprised this has had to happen. Given the recent irresponsible behaviour of more than a few youthful idiots holding mass parties and outdoor raves across the country, it's no wonder we are seeing a spike in cases particularly amongst the young. What worries me is it's not those who have been contributing to this behaviour that will be affected. No, it's those who have been obeying the rules who will now be banned from doing the limited social activities we could have done while those who flouted the rules the first time will doubtless do so again.
For me, that would have been visiting a few local gaming clubs for socially distant games and maybe tcg tournaments. Certainly some places I am following on social media we're talking about it, so they have probably slammed the breaks on. Annoying but I do understand it. Especially since a primary school near my local area has just announced a confirmed case. I'll be watching that very carefully.
