So another month is upon us and I just want to thank everyone for the wonderful likes and comments. I'm sorry that I can't always reply to everything but I just want everyone to know that I love you all and thank you for your support. It means the world to me and I always enjoy coming home from work to see all the fav's and love for my pics. Just a reminder that I am still kind of open for requests. I still have a long way to go to keep improving my sketching and inking style and so I'm taking on requests at the moment that interest me the most. Sometimes you just have to throw stuff out there until it sticks.
I've also still find myself managing a lot of ideas I want to try, specifically stories, pic series, and a few comic ideas. One such project that I plan to try out, and would love to see other fellow artists take part in, is another shot at the #Cubtober idea. I kind of threw it out there at the last minute as a lark since it seemed Inktober was at the height of it's popularity. Now it seems that Inktober's reputation is in the toilet since the organizer tried to rip off and publish other peoples work so he could profit. I promise I will not be doing that here. Last year's list is not going to be repeated though as I'm building a new list with a more diverse of characters. I could use a little help with suggestions though.
The same rules apply this year, I'm mostly listing adult characters that haven't had a series based on them where they were cubs a majority of the time. This includes such series at Swat Kats and Road Rovers. I'm also including series where the main characters may have appeared as cubs, but again no dedicated spin off cub series. For example Sly Cooper is allowed, but characters from Muppet Babies and Baby Looney Toons wouldn't count. The characters don't have to be super obscure but the variety is always nice and may help others discover and learn of a show they may not have been aware of. I'll post the list the day before October begins and will try my best to do them all. I hope you'll all join me and don't worry about doing full pictures. I'll most likely be just posting sketches, or inks with the occasional flat colors.
Now back to my cub-sonas. The last AMC didn't really go anywhere and I apologist for that. I've been looking more into perhaps flexing my writing muscles and doing a story about their adventures once a month (or every other month if I can't think of something interesting). I'm already working on a story and a drawing about what happened during their trip to Destiny Land. Not planning to spoil anything but some interesting stuff happened if you'd like to ask. Now that it's September, Marine and Mint are getting ready for school (no pandemic in this world so please don't bring it up). The two of them have even made some friends already. A red panda girl named Cameron lives next door and her and Mint hit it off well. Marine has also made friend with a purple haired skunk named Eddy. I'll be doing some drawings of them soon too so feel free to ask them something as well.
Marine and Mint were also gifted their grandpa's old laptop which has a built in webcam and easy internet access. Who knows what they'll find online. Perhaps other cubs like them interested in sex stuff and exploring their interests. There are also more characters in their town they'll meet up with and eventually bring into their circle. I look forward to drawing and writing more but please keep your questions coming. It does help with the world building. ^v^
