I'm making a game.

For those of you who've played Katawa Shoujo, or are familiar with other Eroge games, I'll be making one of my own. Only the main cast will not consist of expertly drawn anime girls.

I'm going to make it furry. Using my own original characters that you've seen on my Ink Bunny, and a few that I may make up on the spot for the game.

Due to my extensive coding experience, and my literally almost 18 years of roleplay experience, I expect it to be done within a few months of strict working. (Because I'll be doing it all by myself.)

I'll be using the free Ren'Py Visual Novel Engine to run the game. It's the same engine that Katawa Shoujo uses. If anyone has any ideas, or characters they would like to see in the game, please contact me through private message (or one of the various instant messaging services I've provided on my ink bunny.

Except Skype, I'm never logged in to Skype.

Good luck, these projects almost never finish but if your serious and willing to go for it you have my support ^^ Theres very little decent games like that in the fandom, it's tragic really. I do like your characters allot and the game sounds like TONS of fun. XD One of the things I never have managed to get Kevin into =p maybe when i win the Lotto X3

Anyway what kinda ideas have you go percolating in that mind of yours or are you going to keep it a surprise.

Well, I have to do it myself. So it'll be a lot of work.

And I'm currently playing Katawa Shoujo so I can really get a feel for the games themselves.

I've already had my hand in several online video games using the engine BYOND.

Some of the games I've worked on are all anime role playing games. I wanted to be a My Little Pony Roleplaying Game (Sort of like an MMO,) but no one was interested in helping me. So it trailed off.

At the moment, I'm so caught up in playing Katawa Shoujo that I've neglected almost everything else. XD

Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who gets so caught up in a book, or a game, or an anime series that it almost becomes an obsession.

Thank you. That would be most greatful. But the engine does a lot of the work for me.

At the moment, I'm deciding if I want to go back to college or not. I want to learn to program using C, and C++.

I have so many great ideas for video games, and they're all just sitting there in my brain collecting dust.

Well, I've been programming since 1986, and I've learned the gamut of languages from x86 and Win32 assembler, through C and C++, up to Java and ActionScript (Flash). While my career focus is business-oriented applications, such as CRM and website design, I've always wanted to make a game of my own (and I am plotting something...). But I like to contribute to the success of others, often at my own expense, and I'd love to see some new games to play.

Can I download that part of your brain in to my own?

I want to make 3D video games so badly. But all I know how to code is BYOND Script.

Thankfully, the Ren'py engine does a lot of the work for me.

You should try the totally free Unity Engine. TONS of Indie developers are using it to make awesome games for multiple platforms. Including PC and Mac, and even android and iOS.
