Made a Patreon page https://www.patreon.com/user?u=36165501 Honestly feel like my job is unstable at best with the pandemic going on, and besides that I need to focus more on being a full time student anyways. If any of you wanna support me I'd really appreciate it, since this is my favorite hobby and being able to make money would be a dream come true. If you don't want to, or can't, I completely understand.
I'm very new to this whole thing so I honestly don't know how I should go about it, but here's my gameplan so far:
All of the stuff I normally post here (IE: Regular renders, animations, requests.) Will stay free obviously, if you're just here for the porn, you're all set.
As for reward tiers:
I've noticed that people tend to ask me how I've done certain things in Blender, so maybe I could start making videos on how I've done certain things. Not a lot of videos or tutorials exist for purely NSFW stuff, most of what I've learned I've extrapolated through tutorials that go over broader stuff.
This might be a quick and easy way to do commissions if I ever wanted to. but I don't know for sure since I'm still new to Patreon
Maybe posting the .Blend files of my finished renders for anyone who cares. Not sure how useful or desirable it'd even be.
If anyone has any ideas for how I could make the page more worthwhile, please tell me. Like I said I've never done this before. I'm honestly pretty nervous about it. I don't want people to think I'm putting a paywall in front of my work, as I've said before I do this for fun. I want to try and keep the core of what I do free, and then offer extra stuff for those who want it. I want to be able to offer resources for people to start making their own Blender art, because its really fun and Blender is a fantastic piece of software. But yeah that's pretty much it.
Now on to requests:
I don't often interact with those making requests, beyond a yes or no, or an explanation. I really should start responding more, because I think by not responding people think I'm not going to take their request. Going forward I'm going to try and be more responsive and transparent with people's requests.
I think I'm done with the bulk of requests, but I know I still have a decent amount left. I tend to do my own thing in between requests or while waiting for responses simply so I don't burn myself out.
That's basically it, just wanted to give a quick update. Still working on getting them done, but with work I don't have as much free time as I'd like.
