some updates and musings

I hope everyone is being safe out there! Wearing your mask and staying indoors as much as you can! ( i work retail so i get it!)

Commission Rates Increase Reminder

Giving one more reminder that at the start of next month my commission rates increase! this is due to a rent increase! I just wanted anyone who was thinking about commissioning me that now might be the time!  Any estimates given before the month ends and that are paid in full by the first week of next month i WILL honor!

Personal Projects!

I'm sure you've seen the teasers, and i wanna slowly plan more but i am working on my next big project, and there are some ways i wanna involve followers (more news on that later!) lets just say i AM excited, and like my last big original comic project "Rattle Toy" It WILL be posted for free weekly with an option to buy to support the series, and get bonuses! I wanna say more but i should wait till its further along in development! All i can say is, if you draw, prepare some of your strongest work to show me...

some rambling and a thank you

so uh, Please don't get that upset if you don't like that I'm charging for my comics and works, like, i put plenty out for free, and i understand being a little miffed that you want something and don't wanna pay for it but at the end of the day Furry art is a luxury and you're not owed my work, I'm far from any kind of popular and i am VERY lucky to scrape by as much as i have on my art for as long as I have, I am VERY thankful to the repeat customers and the new ones i get every so often! it means a lot that my work has any kind of value to you! but if it doesn't that's okay! you don't need to buy my comics, art. there are MANY MANY better and more talented and deserving artists out there! so if you're so upset by me charging $8 for 2-3 months worth of work on comic i made alone that you need to bitch post on message boards about it like, I'm sorry? but maybe just don't follow me anymore. Clearly we're both getting nothing out of it! For those who don't mind or love to support! i appreciate you! I'm trying to put out more stuff that everyone can enjoy but with how the world is commissions and things that will bring in income are MOST important right now! I rarely get time to myself let alone time to draw to myself! so i hope you understand and i appreciate your follows, views, comments and favs!

I work retail as well and when I come home from an 8-10 hour shift I'm tired and just simply want to relax. You, you go straight to the "drawing board" and create. I understand that you need to think about putting more justification into the extracurricular activities you do outside of your work; especially in these times right now. Let's just hope you don't get too many "Karens" out there (a little retail joke). Can't wait to see what other projects are in the works. Keep up the good work and you do you!

oh totally, there are days where I absolutely get home and I'm like "no drawing, only youtube and video games" I try to set aside "days" for drawing and creative work every week, especially because I tend to work rather quick (almost every drawing in my gallery was likely finished the same day I started drawing it) and I enjoy taking commissions, it works out for everyone, I get paid for my work, skill and time by someone who values my work and they get their idea/concept brought to life! yay! but yeah I also have TOO many ideas I myself want to create, honestly, if I was better off financially I'd GLADLY pay others to do it! I work at a Jo-Anns Fabric store, so its "Karen Central" the store's entire client base is "older white women" lol,

Yeah, commissions are a Godsend especially when you work in an area that doesn't give you enough money to live on. In the 13 years I've worked retail, I've only received a combination raise of about $5 which is sad. I work at a pet store so I get enough people that think they know how to care or animals and think they know more about your job than you do. I'm more of an author but if I ever did artwork and had enough people who loved it, I'd set up a Patreon in a heartbeat. Of course you would then have to deal with people who leak your content but I guess you get that no matter what if you setup a paywall.

Can't wait to see more comics, loving the current one and get excited when you post a new page.
