UPDATE 7/26:
The storm has passed Hawaii Island and Maui County, the eye of the storm remaining just to the north and offshore. It will pass over Oahu and Kauai tonight.
For me, the threat has passed. :-)

Hurricane Douglas is approaching the islands, forecast to arrive this weekend.
I’m writing this journal to inform everyone in the event I lose power and my online presence becomes limited.
