just soemthing i noticed for some artists. Ever notice how some official characters basically become synonymous with some fanartists in some cases due to how often they draw them or their the most known for it in some ways.
I do find it really cool that the artists kinda breaths their own life into a character, either through doing a lot of work with them or doing the character in their own art style.

It used to be very common for artists to use one of their own characters for their icon (I still do this myself).
At some point in time, probably due to the obsession over dumb RPs, the public started mistakenly presuming every artist's PFP was of themselves. e.g. if I use Rhubarb as my icon, people treat me like a girl 'cause they think I'm Rhubarb.

I find it interesting how people can associate a character with an artist, just because that character gets used the most by them and then it becomes second nature to think of that artist cause its like that connection and association you make especially if you love that person's work, which makes that feeling all the more stronger.
