Prices

Hi everyone! I want to change prices on next week, since they are too old ^ ^' And want to sure what they are OK.
(I added 3 types of quality. Prices and examples you can see in my profile.)
Prices for my detailed (normal) style:

Full color for 40$ (30$ for additional character)
Flat colors for 30$ (25$ for additional character)
Lineart for 25$ (20$ for additional character)
Sketch for 15$ (10$ for additional character)
Frame for 15$

Prices for my simple style:

Simple full color 25$ (20$ for additional character)
Simple flat color 20$ (15$ for additional character)
Simple lineart 15$ (10$ for additional character)
Simple sketch for 10$ (5$ for additional character)
Frame simple for 10$

Backgrounds:
Paintig: 10$
Flash: 5$
Minimalistic: free

Here I wanted to talk about names for styles. You see, my old prices lists have names of quality, like "Normal" or "Simple". I wanted to add a "High" one, so people can choose what they want. Differences between them:
Simple - less anatomy, less details, only one shadow and highlights. So drawings looks like WB cartoons or Disney's "A Mickey Mouse Cartoon" or "Phineas and Ferb".
Normal - shapes have anatomy, hairs more detailed, 2 or 3 shadows, 3 light effects. Characters looks like anime or Disney cartoons like "Lion King" or "Aladdin", but with more shadows and lights.
High (doesn't exists right now) - real anatomy, very detailed hairs, fur shadows and lights.
I though maybe better to change "quality" to styles? For example, "Simple" change to "Cartoon" and "Normal" change to "Anime". But I think people can be confused, because "Leon King" is a cartoon too as "Aladdin" >_> Or maybe I should change "Normal" to "High", so flash style like "Phineas and Ferb" or "MLP" will be in "Simple". "Lion King", "Aladdin", WB cartoons and anime will be in "Normal" and in "High" will be pictures with all shadows, lights and etc. So it will be like that:
Simple: - minimalistic pics with one shadow and highlights.

Normal: - anatomy, details, one shadow and highlights\lights.

High: - anatomy, details, full shadows and lights

If will be with "high" then I need to think about prices gain xD

If you've decided that it's exactly 3 styles you're going to offer, how about calling them: Simple Style, Normal Style and Detailed Style for example? That way the styles would be named more or less according to the level of detail in them.

With words 'cartoon' and 'anime' the distinction that I use to make is that anime means Japanese animation style specifically, and cartoons mean all other animation styles. The level of detail in both can vary a lot, so I don't personally think cartoon and anime would be very good words to describe the level of detail, but that's just me. I'm old fashioned.

I'd definitely like to try your high detailed style (whatever you will call it) sometime, when you have slots available in your queue again. :)

Anyone who says you’re charging too much is crazy. This is perfectly reasonable.

Okay, mainly I think that I really need a commission from you, but so far I was not successful to look at your commission journal with any "[free]" slot in it. I'll keep on checking it! :-D (I'm being silly here, no stress, I'll just keep on looking^^).

Regarding your prices:
As a poor customer I really like them and am happy it's in a reach I can afford relatively easily.

From a "fairness" perspective, I personally feel you're majorly undercharging. I mean, of course that all ultimately depends on how long you work on a single piece, but, for example, the Elmyra "Nachtmahr" piece, how long did you need to get that done? Let's be honest, the pic has at least the same quality that the original cartoon artists had, if not better, and I think you'd DESERVE much more for that.

But well, just saying, I'm not one with too much money, and I should certainly not talk people into charging you more, I'm just saying, I think for your level of quality, especially with the pics with full background, you'd deserve it!

So, going from that, these prices are MORE THAN OK. :-D

Anyway, you're an awesome artists, and I'll keep my eyes open and see if I can be quick enough to get a free slot from you at some point. :-)

I see x3 Thank you =) This is the reason why I wanted to make 3 or more prices lists: "Simple", "Normal" and "High". So everyone can save money x3

These prices are good for me, but what about for a comic page or a sequence of images?

This is my main problem, because I can't figure out price if image have many frames, especially with many characters =C I only know what one page takes really huge time (several days) and every page have different frames, characters and etc. So first page can be really easy while second one can be hardcore as hell x_x This is the reason why I do not have comics. Second reason, even if we can take prices form my price lists, then it will be too expencive xC To be honest, I do not tknow what to do with comics T_T

Ah, alright then. That's fine, it would probably be easier with just multiple images of the same character. Just do one image at a time XD.

May I please send you a list of ideas for you to consider?
