Been a while since I updated so I thought I’d chat about what’s going on.
First off, I think I found an artist for the Diapered Gatomon Day group pic and I think they’re working on it right now, though I don’t want to ask it’s status because it might seem rude.
Next, my wireless mouse is getting worn out and the left click is unresponsive sometimes. This makes art in GIMP annoying to do, so I’m waiting on a new mouse before I do any more art.
Concerning my novel, well, I’m reluctantly taking a break from it. On Twitter, I saw a post about “Signs you are mentally or emotionally exhausted” and I had like every item on the list. The most notable item was “Lacking motivation”, which is my biggest issue. Because of this, I’ve decided I needed a vacation, which I’m enjoying, though I’m worried that it will be very difficult when I resume writing.
It’s summer, which is blisteringly hot. Thankfully, my family owns a small in-ground swimming pool to fight this. However, do you know what I wish I could participate in? A Super Soaker fight. I remember seeing commercials for all those awesome Super Soaker guns and a single look at the Super Soaker website made me fantasize an awesome super soaker war.
Sadly, I’ve lived out by the farmland for my entire life and in my childhood, there were no other boys my age in the area, not one. I spent most of my childhood playing by myself or with family. Seeing as I’m in my late 20s now, I highly doubt I’ll be able to find anyone to have a super soaker fight with and not seem like a creep.
