Character Bios

Don't know exactly if I should post this here but i don't care lol. These are some updated bios of my characters (subject to change in the future).

Dykieline "Dykie" McSchtick is a 22, 4-foot-tall short, and mildly chubby racoon girl (with a Boston accent) lacking any major life aspirations. While appearing to be pretty relaxed, lazy, and bummy Dykie has been very insecure since a very young age.

Born with a rare racoon birth defect, Dykie was born with no naturally occurring "mask" to cover and darken her eyes. While only a few select individuals picked on her for this fact, she soon developed a complex, believing that everyone was out to get her because of her physical anomaly and isolated herself from others accordingly. Sometime in high school she decided to muster up some courage and craft herself her own mask with the help of her mother’s arts and crafts skills. Wearing this mask, while not really changing her much physically, boosted her confidence to be around others.

When entering high school, she decided to work hard on crafting what she deemed to be a "cool" and cocky persona, something that worked for the most part (even so much so that she tended to buy into it herself), helping her socialize with plenty of new people and be a lot more relaxed in general. But Dykie, because of these underlying insecurity’s subconsciously still felt like she was cheating people, and that they would discover her to be a fake, so none of these friendships ever really lasted, and once she was at the end of her senior year she was alone again with only her mother and older brother to keep her company.

She recently met up once again with her childhood friend Simon Sagittarius who had moved out of the town years ago and after finally having someone to hang out with, and finding his more shy natured personality and unique interest in space adorable, she once again developed a crush on him (just as she did when she was a child). Despite what one might think Simon was the one to finally ask to make it official, sealing the deal on them becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. Dykie’s loud natured and tomboyish persona might appear to clash with Simon’s passive nature from an outsider’s point of view, but in reality, they bond over each other’s different interest, and love having someone to trust and lean on when the going gets tough. Simon is the only individual that Dykie feels truly secure around, so much so that she has no problem removing her fake mask when she’s just alone with him.

She currently works at an old rinky dink gas station in the small town she’s lived in her whole life. With no grand aspirations to strive for her future is unknown, but she’s confident that she will spend that future with Simon.

Simon Sagittarius is a 23-year-old 6-foot-tall mouse boy and one of Dykie’s childhood friends. With his mother’s passing at a young age his father had told him that her spirit was in a better place amongst the stars. In adult hood this contributed to his fascination with space and other unknown places in our universe.

A lack of similar interests with his peers and his emotional vulnerability brought on by his mother’s passing as a kid made it rather hard for him to develop much social skills, contributing to his shy/passive  personality, often leading him to be nervous with the prospect of being in big groups and having to hold conversations. His friend Dykie was the only one that always pushed and encouraged him to try things outside of his comfort zone, which he was ok with because he thought she was cute. He did get easily flustered hanging out with Dykie because she often brought a lot of attention to him, trying to show off to others the “awesome stuff” that he liked.

Sadly, Simon had to move away from his only friend due to his father needing to leave the town where Simon’s mom had passed away. With Simon’s dad being a psychologist Simon learned how to better himself in understanding other people’s perspectives often self-reflected on his past and how much his old friend Dykie had meant to him. In all those years away from Dykie and the town he remained by himself, not really talking with others for long periods of time, nervous when any attention was brought on to him from others, which he was often teased for. His father tried to help him, but Simon had trouble opening up to him.

Eventually Simon and his dad moved back to the town and here Simon was able to reunite with a now grown up Dykie. She had become a lot more confident in the years since he left, while he was still a pretty shy guy, but Dykie didn’t mind one bit.  While he was hesitant at first, she talked him up and took him all over the town, spending all there time together for weeks, and one fateful night under the full moon Simon realized he was in love with her and mustered up all his courage to tell her.

They have been boyfriend and girlfriend since, though nothing much changed as they had already gotten along so well before hand. He loves his small racoon girl.

He currently works at the library but often visits the town’s old observatory.

Trish McSchtick is a tall, lanky, 44-year-old racoon woman, best known as Dykeline's mother. Trish was a bit of a party animal when she was younger, not focusing on her education and choosing to instead spend her nights black out drunk and curled up on some stranger’s bathroom floor. Her sister Connie only encouraged this behavior and they would often hang together hopping from party to party. Trish had a liking for art, focusing on landscape paintings (taught to her from her own mother) and trying to sell them for any cash she could on the side.

This all changed when she became pregnant with her first child. The random fling responsible stuck around for a bit, but once a 2nd pregnancy occurred, he abandoned her and their children. Trish took it upon herself to turn her life around to raise her children in a good home. She quit her drinking, sold all her paintings, got a full-time job at the diner and took it upon herself to do her best to be supportive to her children growing up, even if she can't always be home.

Even though she has a tense relationship with her sister Connie (who drops by occasionally, but still hasn't gave up the party lifestyle) she loves her family deeply, even if she can be a bit oblivious to some of the things going on within it, and she’s always trying to be in Dykie’s corner, fighting to make her happy.

Fun Fact: She named Dykie after artist “Anthony van Dyck”, oblivious to any other meanings one might take away from her daughter’s name.

Chow Mein is a 23-year-old chubby panda girl of an average height. Growing up with a loving and over protective single father Chow grew up rather innocently. But because of her dependence on her dad she never really learned to defend herself. She was weak willed, frail, and the perfect punching bag for any angry kids in her school to pick on. Because of her bullying from others her dad tried to step in to help. This only served to make her look like a daddy’s girl and made others pick on her more.

Because of this exclusion she found herself friends with Dykie who was often an outcast as well. She admired Dykie from a young age, for even though Dykie was bullied like her she actually had an inherent toughness to fight them back. Dykie served as Chows small racoon defender. They often hung out at Dykie’s house together playing games, trying on each other’s clothes, and just talking about the problems in their lives.

It was around middle school when the two began to drift apart with Dykie attempting to separate herself from Chow to avoid any extra bullying that might come her way. Devastated by Dykie’s ever growing distance from her, and with no one else to turn to, Chow's sadness began to turn towards resentment, causing her to view Dykie in an increasingly bad light. When high school came around Chow had an attitude flip, this time she wouldn’t be the one picked on. She attacked other kids constantly, putting them down and getting in fights with them over small things. This time she would be the one on top.

Her most frequent victim was now her former friend Dykie. She often broke Dykie down easily, since she knew how vulnerable Dykie was about the subject of her fake mask. But even as she put down Dykie, she secretly longed for Dykie to be her friend again, and once she hit puberty no matter how much she tried to deny it by getting with other guys, she couldn’t help but lust after the coon, secretly wishing that Dykie would one day bully her back and convince Chow to be good natured again. Chows dad after hearing about all these complaints moved Chow to a different school in the town over. This was the last time they saw each other for several years.

Chow came back with her father to attend the towns college, pursuing an interest in inventing like her father. Chow's father opened a new restaurant in town that Chow currently works at. At the restaurant she encountered her old friend Dykie again, taking it upon herself to try to be her tormentor while trying to appear as a good natured long lost friend to outsiders like Dykie’s mother, still upset at what Dykie did to her, but still undeniably attracted to her, unable to forget her during all those years.

Since meeting Dykie she has slowly been degrading herself, stooping lower and lower in her sexual fantasies of Dykie as her obsession and lust for her grows and grows. This obsession over Dykie has only worsened to somewhat frightening degrees as she lusts for her mother as well, hoping (with the help of technology provided by the shady organization that funds her father’s business) to one day invent a way to finally make Dykie’s family hers and only hers…

She doesn’t like Simon.
