as for the actually attacks it's 2-3 in groups every 5-10 minutes. I'm up to about 20 of them at this point.

I've been getting them, myself. It's just stupid. I'm not even popufur enough to be noticed when I ask my fans for feedback on things, yet I'm getting these spambots. Like, what the hell?

They post in absolutely random submissions and always in slightly different text to avoid spamblock.
I got one in an 8 year old scrap

Admins would be wise to add a rate limit for comments and maybe a delay for new accounts commenting, as well as a way to rate limit when an account is receiving tons of blocks. Though those features take time and can also be exploited. Maybe just a good ol captcha for now? <w<
