So... to start with, it looks like I'll be going back to my GameStop job on June 8th. I mean, I heard that NYC will be reopening on that date, so I'm willing to assume that my GameStop store will open, too. I am aware that this will mean some drastic changes will most likely happen in the store, but be it curbside service, shorter hours, or whatever, I'll be happy to be working again.
Next, YES! Sonic Movie 2 is in the works! My prediction: It'll be out by Christmas 2022. I may be projecting this, but if you think about it, it would be a perfect fit. I've had theories on what the sequel could provide after seeing the first movie. The possibility of Sonic's world going on a faster time line that Earth. The possibility that Longclaw is still alive and sent Tails to find Sonic. The possibility that we might see Knuckles. I don't know what to expect but I look forward to finding out more in the near future.
Next, they recently announced that the IDW Sonic comics will be coming back soon. The continuation of the Metal Virus saga returns on June 24th. This is great to hear... as I really need the material to work with in order to continue working on my "Kinky Virus" script...
Which leads me to my last bit of news: Part 1 of "The Mayhem of the Kinky Virus" is in the process of getting made as I continue to pay BBMBBF to make it bit by bit. (Thank you, special stimulus check and converting my sick days into a giant paycheck.) My hope is that it'll be on PalComix by mid-June, depending on how this works... I mean, remember, this is the first time in a long time I'm paying for a PalComix comic to be made. So...
In any case, all this makes me very hopeful for the future. Everything that has happened so far is unfortunate, but I have faith that everything will turn out all right.
