I'm writing this in advance now! Sort of. Mostly.
Okay, in all seriousness, while I haven't been making many changes, I've been discussing potential ones.
One thing I've been considering is to increase the amount of Patreons who get a monthly story, and whatever slots that are not filled become Patreon commissions, and then ones for any to take from there.
EXAMPLE: 7 Patreon slots for commissions. I have 4 filled. That's 3 commissions for Patreons, and then any remaining ones are free for the public.
This would give me a better idea for my income, as well as a better idea on how many commission slots people can expect.
Another thing is to eliminate my story of the month entirely, and instead have one year long story with votes and discussions about where to take it.
Cameos and such would still apply and have more detailed TFs as the story would take a year to complete. Patreons get monthly updates, whereas non-Patreons will see it when released in December.
The last thing is having a token system for Patreons that can be redeemed for short stories, or stacked and used for longer ones.
For instance: A bronze token gets 500 words. Using 3 of them gets a 1500 story. Something like that.
...and I am considering re-adding a tier that allows people to spend time with me. I know I have had requests regarding that tier.
I know I'd love to spend time with everyone and RP openly and freely, but because money is a thing, I have to get my priorities in such an order.
It would probably be used for more than just RP though. Maybe private commissions if you so desired during that time, not sure.
Not much in terms of site or game design to report. Made some minor additions here and there, including racial bonuses, but only two are actually active and working.
