That avatar is perfect for that response.

I find you quite recognizable, as generic as the design is. If you're bothered by how generic, then why not consider adding some thing small, and equally generic, but still helpful in differentiation? A couple of off-color spots on the back of the neck, or on the skin inside one of his ears? Somewhere visible but not necessarily in every pic.

i like kevin the way he looks =3 but if you wanna do a change man do 2 colord eyes its a simpel change to distinguish cevin from other bunnys but your hawt the way you are <3and your collar is in most pics so i can easely see its you *kisses your nose*

Hard to say really, I'd seen a lot of similar looking buns and had honestly mistaken some for Kev in the past.

I personally did an eye thing that helps me set myself apart from the other wolfy pupper bois. Have you considered adding a physical trait that'd set Kev apart?

I feel your pain...trust me my stuff gets stolen and reused all the time and it drives me insane. I've thought about changing but I like being realistic more than anything else. In the end do what makes you happy

As a fellow rabbit i have no issues recognizing you among other look a likes. There is one exception to that though and that was someone i met on SecondLife years ago before my ban that I'm still not sure if it was you or not. If it was I'm honored to have met you, if not then i give that person props on remaking Kevin with such accuracy.

White bunnies are mostly the same, but if your everywhere it means you are ether rich enough to spread him around having others draw him alot, or your super manipulative to others so that you make them think they are happy to do things for you.
I would not reconize him unless you post it or someone mentions it's you, as I do not wish to use my time to reconize others.
The following scentence will not interest you. My characters are so specific and unique looking that youll KNOW where its from. That is what I like, and is what really matters as a site user. You have to have an aquired taste to like them, instead of the just the generic, no offence.

You'll just have yo learn to accept you're popular, kiddo. Plus.. Bunnies. Half hte point of bunnies is that you're all alike and interchangeable. It helps us feel less bad when we accidentally break a few.

Problem with having a generic more normal looking character is you're gonna get similarities. Nomatter what you really do you'll get similar characters all over the board im afraid. I see similar characters to me all the time even a few with similar stripes on the face i dont let it bother me. infact if someone saw my character and liked her enough to want a similar looking character then it makes me feel good that my character was liked ^^. The short of it is that you're never having a character that isnt similar or coppied at all and for all you know you made a character very similar to someone else and they noticed yours and got kinda bugged about it. Mybe not but i hope you see my point. ^^ dont let things out of your control bug you it just inst worth it at all. Your fans will know your character or they'll get confused and think a character is you either way its still you they like. ^_^ By the by i wasnt using generic in a bad way at all. my character is the most generic you can get xD shes just a frigging tigger xD.

Simple marking or slight off color on his ears (like a lot of real white bunnies) could go a long way in makin him a little more recognizable without being ridiculous.

He seems adorable already. Its up to you if you decide to expand him in some way. Like my character had spots, then freckles, but i removed those because it was too many details.

*Slash and Burn giggle evilly, look at Sandy's amazing treasures...and dash away to Timmy's temple. Timmy sighs and flies after them, pretty sure he knows what they're thinking. Sandy just blinks...looks at Mr. "Thingy" and trots after them! Snowy slips up beside you, puts an arm around your shoulder and says softly "OH Kev.....still saying things out loud around them*sigh*(WICKED GRIN)!"* ;D

I have never had any trouble recognising Kevin. It's more than just the look. There's a lot of personality and personal style in the pieces you get. It always makes you stand out.
I really don't think you need to change anything. You are the original cute bunny boy and everyone will always be able to pick you out.

I know Kevin anywhere. It's like someone said in another comment...you have the personality. Makes him insta-recongnizable. But something small might be in order...maybe like a little inner ear tattoo...or maybe always have his butthole be heart shaped XD

heh. that reminds me when i started getting art for Dibs ((white mouse,short green hair)) and i actually had a guy from FA ((who hadnt been active for 6 years on either)) here on IB to question me on the theft,lol.

its a down side to being our simplistic cute selfs.

if i HAD to make a change to your character...it would be to move it to be more like your PFP atm...with the more vibrant pink instead of the natural... but that might just be me stuck in my neon phase...
However i do agree. the pink collar with the bell is the thing that makes you stand out.

otherwise I find Kevin perfectly adorable and love the pure simplicity and apologize that every once in a while I dont realize its you v.v

Keep the way he looks! A lot of characters can look alike, I at least don't think everyone is trying to copy your style or intention to. I know Kevin is not the first or last white rabbit character. It's cool to give him a recognisable and specific appearance regarding clothing or accessory. I did see at least one oc sheet that had not the same color fur but same hair, ears and shape. But it still had it's own appeal again in terms of clothing. Again leave Kevin as he is, he might be the one character that gotten into rabbits more but I also think a lot of rabbit characters are good but not as good as yours especially if they have the same generics. But keep in mind it's significantly up to you, since you're the creator. Sorry for big block of text and if I'm not making that much sense.

The question is more how you feel.  Obviously it's bugging you more than a bit.  That being stated I have seen more than a few where I wasn't really sure, always checking the name is often the best way to tell.  There are loads of things you can do but it will have to end up being what does Kevin want.   I wouldn't give him a scar, earring/piercing, bunny birthmark, hair dye, or anything unless he was okay with it.    Don't consider me weird or obsessed, but try asking the part of yourself that he inhabits and look for an answer there.

So many people these days change so drastically at the snap of a finger.  I feel like more and more there are fewer and fewer people whom bond with their character.  I write, and probably have a half dozen different blocks of myself and each one writes different.  No it's not some psychiatric disorder it's simply a way of allowing myself to live by imagination.  I don't try to write the wonderful fluffy stuff if I'm in a crap mood, nor do I bother with smut when I'm feeling a bit evil.    Don't know how to explain it better than that.

thanks for the inpute.. I honestly DONT want to make changes if they are made they need to be as consistent with the origenal design as possible.. Im just concerned maybe he is slightly TO generic :* and the only thing pointing him out is his omnipresent collar.

I totally recgonize him when I see a picture that involves the cutie, even with him being "plain" for narrative reasons as you say, the red collar makes him dintinguishable between other similar character for sure though, but I think it has more to be with the fact of his age is always well depicted so I go "oh that maybe is Kevin!" and turns out it is, well thats my experience when I see pics of him on the rule34 sites :P, personally I wouldnt change anything on him since the range the design of the character provide is wide enough, he is adorabs nd definitely feels "real" enough for me, I agree on the sparkle dog magical mixture that has one dragon wing and one gryphon wing and so on, not making fun of that fun it is true, Kevins feels more real and thats great.

i know kev from other bunnies any day of the week ^^
and yus, i also made my char with the mindset of being "natural" in coloscheme etc.. easy for artists to draw and just basically a lioncubby/teen.. , with the distinguishing factors being a hint of tribalism etc.. in the clothing and attitude ^^
but, in any case, you are the one and the only original white bun of the fandom ^^
original cleanwhite fluffbutt..
oh, and i like how kevin looks, it's not.. "artificial" or looking like something rainbow vomited in the backstreets of pride parade xD to put it bluntly

I've always thought Kevin was hot as hell but that's in large part due to the way you infuse his personality in the art you get. He's just the right mix of adorable and naughty that makes him great. I don't think you need to change his overall look even with other rabbits that have some similar features. If you want to do anything, maybe just give him some more outfits or accessories that you want to make unique to him.

Seee *points up* ... a lot of this is why I'm an 8ft tall, prehensile tailed, 4 armed, 2 legged dragon tiger hybrid thing ... LoL

... mind you saying that ... since I made my me in '99 there are now like 3 or 4 others in the fandom that I know of ...

BUT ... I also have a-typical generic tiger #254 and stereotypical gay wolf #1784 ... and I started out originally with starter-fox model A1408 back in the earlyer 90's ... even did short dragon for a few years because who doesn't ...

Incidentally ... bunnies are hot ;)
