Nordic Fuzzcon Epilog (My Journey)

Arrived at the Danish Border by car and was immediately questioned by Danish customs.
They said "Soll" What that was neither German nor English or any other language I speak. XD
Then they continued "Dänischer Soll - Was wollen Sie in Dänemark?" Danish Customs what do you want in Denmark? Now I got it. He was trying to say "Zoll" the German equivalent of customs, but pronounced in a really weird way. He continued that they were looking for drugs. I told them that I was driving to Malmö and was attending a Furry Convention, I openend my car and showed them my fursuit Head and stuff.
"Das bist du" That's you! He said and laughed then I could continue my drive in Denmark. The next surprise was Danish Autobahn Toll on the second bridge over the Danish isles. I wasn't carrying any Danish money with me only € and the machine wasn't taking € bills, to be precise the bills didn't even fit into the machine so I had to wait for the cashier to arrive to pay "You'll get Danish back" Okay ! No Problem as long as I can pay in €. I feel like the Americans that wanna pay in USD everywhere they go.
Then almost in Malmö drove through the Öresund Bridge which cost me another 54€. This time it was explicitly told that we /could/ pay in €. Then Swedish Customs "Hello what do you want in Sweden?"
I was telling them that I was attending a furry convention at Clarion Hotel in Malmö. This time he didn't wanna see my fursuit.
Finally, I arrived at the Clarion Hotel's undergound garage. I know next time I'm gonna search for a free parking space somewhere near the hotel. 22€ each day isn't cheap, but it's directly at the con so it was worth it. The hotel, the majority of the city has an inconvenience that I wasn't aware off. You can pay only by card, No cash!

I was getting out of the car and trying to find the hotel reception right when

CFC

was picking me up and to show me around. He already checked in earlier and was usually a helper "STEW" at the con so that's a benefit, having a person that knows the country, the convention, the hotel and everything already.
I'm really thankful that he showed me the hotel and parts of Malmö, places to eat, Max Burger, KFC, the awesome restaurant at the hotel et cetera.

Another bunch of awesome roommates were Cornwall and Keklily. Together with them and CFC we made up our room group of 4. All are super friendly and easygoing. With CFC and Keklily they had their swedish majority in the room. But I don't mind. I listened to their music and now am a fan of Swedish music as well.

At the Arcade there are still some /small/ fans to put up to cool the room and so we did help out a bit. The manager of the Arcade room is super gentil

I had the most funny experience when we went into town to grab some food and wanted to go into a Shawarma King Restaurant. First of all when we opened the entrance door they played super loud french hip hop

Something that I didn't expect at all. I might have expected English music playing but not french hip hop XD

By random I met some of my friends from other conventions. BattyAiri and circuitbreaker.
So we attended the Haunted House and the experience was amazing. They were starting to tell us something and then the lights went dark and we were supposed to go through this with just a badly functioning pocket lamp. And at the end were Skull masked Furries that were crawling into your face and shouting "Rawr rawr Raaaawr". It was so well made that I continued laughing during the whole session. It reminded me on all the scary computer games that I played before. Like Left 4 Dead 2, Slenderman, Alien Swarm, Starcraft 2...

I don't remember when or which day it was, but I found

During the Convention days I was fursuiting and when I wasn't I was taking as many pictures from other cute fursuiters as I could. Sometimes I went into the Dealers' Den (DD), which was really big and spacey in contrast to the DD at Eurofurence. On the other hand, the art show was a bit tinier than Eurofurence's.

The event I was most striving for to attend was the Fursuit Parade. This is the amazing event at every convention that makes me always so happy. All cameras get put up your face from everywhere. "Am I a famous TV star, AM I ??" Well it does feel like it. We were gathering at the outside spaces near the statue at the main entrance of the Clarion Hotel. Mausi (Mousie?) and Iris were jokingly playing around in front of our line up of fursuiters. Random cameras popping up everywhere now, also local press. Then they were taking the group picture. And the Parade started. One girl was shouting "Yudyyy!" from the side. (J pronounced as Y) She wanted a picture together with her and her Idol Judy Hopps so I waited for them to take a picture and continued my parade. The route wasn't optimal. I found several small and sharp stones stuck inside of my feetpaws after the Parade. But hey they got a picture of me there, too.

Toilets are marked as usual "Damar" and "Herrar" ... wait... That sounds like they're using German words just with .... wrong conjugations or something. (compare German: Damen and Herren)
Swedish being a (North-) Germanic language becomes even clearer when the waitress asked "Hej, watt hadde Du gehatt" meaning what did you have (as meal) (Compare German: Was hast Du gehabt?)

Everyone at the convention and from the Convention staff was super friendly and I felt like everyone was doing their best to make everyone have the most amazing experience at the convention. I didn't have the same feeling at Eurofurence not even once.

When I was slowly getting the feeling that I had enough from the convention it was the last day for me and i was driving my friend CFC home and then I was leaving as well. This time no Customs control - not even once.
