Another day, another work week (nearly) done. I still don't understand the major point in any of this "pandemic." Especially when it doesn't effect virtually everyone and everything in the US.
States are going into lockdown...Good.
Certain establishments and events cancelled...Sucks but understandable.
Stores, Hospitals, City Services continue to provide safety and survival...Of course
Rent and Bills lowered?...NOPE! Still have to pay in full.
I guess it makes sense on one hand. But the other are the layoffs/forced closings. The other thing that gets me too is the fact of still going to work and act like it's just another day and la-de-da smiles everywhere while this and other shitty news and political dump-fests continuously spread everywhere.
All I really want to do is just stop and not worry about anything. Granted, I will still work. Pfft, I have to...since perspectives are no longer valid. It's just that this double-edged chapter of life sucks! It's like a Choose Your Own Adventure book but this virus ripped out the backing to hold the pages together.
Now whatever pages I pick up WILL BE that story moving onward for me. Each day is always a gamble and ruins my motivation to do anything.
Life of an essential...I guess.
