Why not do the other pair?  (Todd (Fox and the Hound) and Judy (Zootopia))

UPDATE: (Sees suggestion for Todd and Judy that hadn't noticed earlier)   Yes, do it.

Even if I like Littlefoot X Ali pairings the best with Land Before Time,  I don't mind Shorty X Ali, Rhett X Ali, Littlefoot X Cera, Littlefoot X Ruby, or even Arlo X Ali or Dink X Ali.

I don't see why people would make such a big fuss if Judy and Nick WEREN'T paired together.

The reason I made this journal was because I was looking at some Zootopia art from another artist earlier and they shipped Judy with Fennic and it pissed off some of their watchers and the artist was getting some hate on it. So that's why I'm kinda wondering about a Tod and Judy pic.

Well, I was looking at another Zootopia pic earlier where the artist shipped Judy with Fennic, and it pissed off some of his watchers, he was getting some hate on it... so that's why I'm kinda wondering about a Tod and Judy pic.

It seems like with Judy there are more furs who have a connection with her.

Yeah I've seen some people that get themselves all twisted up about it. And I can understand it to a certain point. There's been a couple of instances where people have down a 180 or abruptly changed directions with characters in stories and such that don't compute or make sense to me, loosing my interest a bit. That being said, I don't see the harm in Tod and Judy or even Vixy and Nick

I mean, I understand having a connection with certain characters, I do. But like I said in the journal, unless you are the true owner of the character, you can not say who they can be with and how they are drawn.

Crossovers can make some pretty nice pairings that we probably wouldn't have thought of. There was a somewhat recent crossover of Ratatoskr X Gnar and i really loved it a lot so id say to also go with that!

Just do whatever you want.
Anything you bring to art is an addition to what already exists. If people don't like crossover, they just don't look at it, and that's it.

Like cub, uro, gore, or whatever, I think it's stupid to reject what you don't like, especially when you don't lose anything by just ignoring it.

Exactly, I wish more people would just ignore it and move on, but there's always some people that feel like they have to say something, like you personally attacked them or something.

With OCs I can understand that, but rule 34 characters? No, people can't say what is allowed and what isn't with rule 34 characters, they do not own them. Fans will draw them however they wish.

Indeed, and I usually do, but I saw a recent pic where Judy was with Fennic and boy did they get a lot of hate on it... but it was mostly from like 1 or 2 furs :P

But still, I thought I would post a journal cuz I was curious how most of you felt about the idea :)

Still yeah I’ve gotten and enjoyed nick paired with gazelle so it’s only fair if judy got some too. Like I’d get her some beefcake Tiger later on. Still Todd X Judy is an interesting idea so go for it.

Cannon and Fan stuff is always separate in my book.
Everyone can be shipped with everyone else in fanworks.

Official writers on the other hand should stick to making things feel realistic. If Zootopia 2 came out was some bizarre Disney crossover were everyone suddenly decided to go off dating inter-series... That would actually be pretty funny... but it would be a betrayal of the watchers trust in the writers for official story.

Anyway, the people who rage and quite watching over something like that are probably the people you want to stop watching you anyways. As they are really just ticking time bombs waiting to blow at any moment regardless.

Unless it became the only thing you drew for months on end... It is kind of irritating when an artist goes on a single crossover binge forever when it's a ship you don't like yourself, but to be fair at that point as the artist you're basically demanding people who don't like that ship unfollow you if you did that. XD

Haha nah I only do crossover pics once in a while, and I only have like 1 or 2 crossover pairings that I actually like to stick with, but even then I don't flood inkbunny with it, it's still once in a while :P

Yes, Judy and Nick belong together, PERIOD. While I don't Like seeing a soul-bound couple with anyone else, what an artist creates is up to them.

That said, seeing Judy tied to Todd would be fun.

I mean, I have always seen rule 34 art, or just furry porn in general just fap material, if I happen to draw two characters from different shows or movies in a sexual way, then it does not mean that it's permanent, I just draw whatever I think would be hot to see, but it doesn't mean its a final shipping, and this goes with any artist, unless it's their own characters or something.

I just like to draw cute characters together :P

Since the first one was Zootopian Fox vs feral Fox, it might be better to have a Zootopian rabbit with a feral rabbit? You have a few feral rabbits that you like, why not use one of them?

I'd guess that folks have issues with Judy vs (larger or more aggressive) animal due to the fear she had in the movie. They kept the same size proportions unlike a lot of art here where most animals are the same size despite species.

Well its mostly cuz I already did a pic with one of the main characters from each movie, fox and the hound and zootopia. So I kinda wanna do a sequel to it with the other ones, this time with tod and Judy :)

Theres endless possibilities when it comes to rule 34.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing a certain squirrel in a comical scene with Nick and Judy. Two ideas come to mind, but not sure how you feel about police activity, or having a squirrel's head spraying fluids like a sprinkler? :)

Well shiiiiit, I was going to suggest Brer Rabbit since he worked for the same company and was more on the toony feral side that would better match your style.  However, those characters apparently offend some people and might not be a good choice as you might get some harassment for drawing them.

I'd still love to see you draw them as Brer Rabbit is a cute critter.  I just want folks to understand that I don't want you to draw them for racists, rather, I want you to draw them for the furry perverts.  I would like those folks, who are complaining, to understand that the rude thoughts furries have about these critters is probably worse than racist thoughts.  ;)

Since poor Brer Rabbit and friends are now unemployed, (through no fault of their own), I would like to see someone to draw them in a Zootopia scene where Brer Rabbit is getting busted by the fuzz, due to being caught in a prostitution situation, because no one will hire him for a legitimate job.  :(
