I've been sick for a month LOL

God it's just like high school all over again. At least I won't go to jail this time XD

I've had bronchitis which seems to be breaking up but now I'm having immense headaches and feverish feel, fatigue and joint pain which might? be a side effect of the medicine (at least it's not like the zirthromax and closed my throat)

I've also had to come to the realization that I've peaked in my '20s and settled in a valley as far as my work goes. I don't think I'll ever be able to animate, make super-complex let's plays or have full colored comic books... if I even can make comics.

It's been a slow decline of mental and bodily health the past few years. Like I'm way better than before but... not good enough to do what I want to do with life.

So I guess I'm giving up all my ambitions and just, gonna exist...

Headaches, body pain and breathing issues are all signs of the you-know-what, but if you've had it this long then at least you're beating it @w@

Anyway, don't give up, it's important to keep drawing to get past any dips you may find!  When crossing mountains, you can never tell just how much terrain can be in the valleys and how thick the weeds are.  The reason you set out in the first place was because from your original vantage point you could see the other side!

Even though the doctor said it's possible I have a mild case of the 'rona... I feel if I did I would have gotten my grandmother, who is weak and had years of lung problems, that I have been taking care of, sick by now. I don't see how I could have it and not spread it.

Also I have been fighting this for years, the depression and chronic fatigue. Like ten years ago I made a 40 page comic in two days, now I struggle to doodle. Hell I'm struggling typing at the moment.

I can't let optimism make me worse, I have to face reality.

Where's pessimism going to get you, though?  An insidious effect of chronic depression is that the routine of it becomes more comfortable than the alternative, even though I'm sure you don't like that. I wish you the best, and as a fan of small stuff with big stuff, hope that you'll eventually be able to improve your lot while still being able to continue your craft @w@

I do remember you being more active in the past, even though I was a lurker back then.  There still needs to be more stuff like yours around!

It's nice to see someone who I've admired for their many talents and demeanours being here and supporting a struggling friend of mine. You're right that Camilla's artistic voice is powerful and has a character not shared by any artist who approaches her subject matter. :3 Thank you, Bill Murray!

Considering how difficult all of life is, and then on top of that, how difficult YOUR life is, existing is already ambitious and welcomed by us. We barely have a shred of all your suffering because you've kindly chosen to share your brightness and brilliance through your art and words and entertainment.
I know they're people suffering like you, who wish they knew a person like you to look up to. You've been that selfless in trying to create work of love for whomever might see the compassion and joy inside it.

You're already being the change you want to see in the world. In such cases, no mirror can show you the wake you leave in your tail behind.
