... h~a~l~p... just when I thought I'd burned out on Animal Crossing already...
I don't have a problem. I'm totally not addicted! No, seriously, I thought about it; I realised if I were addicted, I would be playing the game at 5am in the morning before my morning workshift... and, uh... that just seems crazy to me. I much prefer it as a chill reward to relax with AFTER work. Because work can be stressful... even under normal circumstances. Hope everyone is okay out there.
So, I've not been "cheating" in Animal Crossing, but... today I had a weird little scare, with my newest resident not appearing on the island even though his house said he was "exploring the island"... and then, later, when I tried closing down and reopening the game to see if that fixed it, it took SOOOOOOOoOOOoo LooooOOOoooOOOnG to load. Now THAT was worrying, but I think it may have been to do with an intermittent internet connection while trying to synchronise the time or whatever. I was afraid my save might have become corrupted or something and, uh... if that ever happens... yeah, while I don't have a major problem with things taking a day to complete, it won't be "cheating" to "time travel", because fuck that. It would either be time travel, or never playing the game again, hahaha! And this game is just my life now mmkay. =|
Seriously, though, when I spent more time last night in Bannerlord waiting to load between the campaign and battles that took at most 2 minutes (EVEN WHEN having to chase fleeing enemies down to cave their skulls in!) because my computer just... just CANNOT run Bannerlord. Oh boy, but it is NOT happy with Bannerlord... and yet, I still couldn't stop playing it until 4am. XD
