The Boondocks return for a new season (fall 2020)

Well.. amid the world discovering the coronavirus as we did in italy just a bit earlier, some interesting news for the animation.

Not really a furry/anthro related anime, but The Boondocks was a stunning adult cartoon series I watched during my high school years (among many others). It's about a pair of black kids living with their grandad and well... the cartoon was amazing for merging humor/extreme adventure and comical urban situation with lots of elements over black situation in the Usa.

I loved the cartoon but... in all honesty i understood why the comic's creator distanced from it (putting an end to the series), because while the story involve lots of heavy parody and self-parody of the black american population (and be warned, lots of "nigga" word xD), the protagonist Huey Freeman is essentially a radical leftist ideologist 10-years old hero ((a cool fan-art i recently faved https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31178293/ )). And his line pretty much match the one of the comic's creator (Aaron McGruder).

I only hope the new series will not water-down too much the political content. I suggest people to watch the show tha despite showing some "facade" of racist-stereotypical elements, it actually include them as gritty "realism brought to extreme" as self-parody and means to strike deeper than you think. I doubt alt-right suprematist imbecilles are going to realize the meaning of a character like Uncle Rukus xD
