It Has Been Rough...

Last year I believed that things were going to be better, but then the reality of how hard life can be when you are living by yourself reared its head. It has been pretty rough these past 12 months but I am trying hard to get through this and not give up. I am hoping this year will finally be the turning point.

There's a familiarity in how you type to me. My life events may not line up exactly, but I wanted to say this as somebody who has tended to feel the same way going through life.

I believe in you. You can keep going. Even if you treat yourself as a content-provider and little else, there are plenty of people out there who care about you and would value your company--some that you don't even know yet--regardless of whether their interests line up with yours and regardless of whether you're actively making art or doing work. You deserve to be happy, and you should not be afraid of putting yourself out there when you need support.
