is it worth buying paint tool sai 2?

I'm currently use paint tool sai for most my art work. I used clip studio to make comic panels and word balloons. I do use clip studio but sai's stabilizer cant be beat. is Sai 2 really better? does it use less memory? do they support sai 2 with updates?

Sai 2 is free if you use your SAI 1 license (unless you are using a hacked version then shame on you <.< sai is cheap)

But yes, Sai 2 is great, I use it for the Gaussian blur and text.

They do update it now and then, like every couple months new bug fix and features are being worked on.

i know mine was the hacked version. i been using the same version for many many years. i was/is poor damn it

If you made more money than the software is worth, then go buy it, support the developper, he is the reason why you making cash so uwu

plus you get sai 2 for free, so it's a good deal.

the sucky part is once i get enough money life hits me hard. i lose hard drives, wacon pads, monitors or big bills happen. but you sre right i just have to buckle down and just get it

If Sai 2 is out shouldn't that make the Sai 1 licenses a lot cheaper now? Couldn't you get a Sai 1 key just to get Sai 2?

Sai 1 cost 50 usd, sai 2 is included for free.
Instead of making you pay a license upgrade or anything, the dev give it for free.

So no, sai 1 wont be cheaper, and when sai 2 is fully released, sai 1 will be phased out and then sai 2 will be 50 usd, just like the price always been.

its not to much to get its great an you can put it on multiple devices so you dont have to worry to much about it. It is a big different than sai one so it takes some getting use to but its worth it with all the extra stuff you get~
that being said i had a hacked sai 1 so i understand being poor and just wanting to doodle but i also had used it enough to make enough money off it to buy it which is how i did it :D

-It is 64 bit so it supports bigger/more complex files, loads files faster,
-Has Auto Recovery incase of crashes
-has new tools like text and shapes, rulers and grids

and same price as sai1 unless you already have the liscence
